It probably should have been publicized outside the LHBPA forum site.

But an equally important question is why you don't just pay your five quid to become a member?

The LHBPA is not supposed to be exclusive. It is supposed to be for all LDN polo players. It is not supposed to be prohibitively expensive. It is a token amount to show that we have real dues-paying members, to have formal documentation of our numbers for councils, etc.

I continue to be utterly baffled that the LHBPA does not have a minimum of 60 members.

What do I get out of the deal?

I'm brainstorming a membership drive at the moment, maybe an event at LMNH where we spend everyone's membership money on the bar tab and provide free beers? If people have any better ideas then please pass them on.

No worries if you don't want to be a member Andy, the LHBPA will still try to represent you and develop bike polo to benefit London bike polo as a whole, but it would be useful to have as many members as possible moving forwards (association stats) and the more input/active members the better!

(The LHBPA is made up of your mates, trying to get shit done. Membership supports your mates and allows us to put an official face on our activity to the outside world... At best you'll get a polo court out of it and some more tourneys, at worst you'll get free beer.)
