Still collecting some parts for my klein project .. my plan is complete build under 200£ including frame :)
-
• #99903
this complete build is not too far over that budget
basically a parts bin build once i got another frame, also, pound shop lights! -
• #99904
nice! , budget builds are always most fun.
built new bars for my minicargo today 666mm wide haha..

Looks like awesome fun.
If it were me I'd just roll on the existing wheels and chainring 'til they wear out, given they're consumables.

Was killing my Condor by commuting on it so built this up from parts I had.
Thanks to Dave at Clever Mike and Spotter. -

The ribble lives!!!
-
• #99922
Ribble is really cool. You may find that after the initial greatness of risers on a roadie that you'll want drops again. I did after about 3 weeks. Guess it depends on commute length.
-
• #99923
changing the bars to ones with a bigger rise and a bit narrower.
drops mean having to buy shifters. Its a cheap commuter so ill stick with the trigger shifters and risers
-
• #99924
Oh yeah, didn't even notice. The one I had just had a DT shifter so the swaps were easy. Damn cool either way.

Alan completed and road tested, 8 shifter exchange quite good on 7 freewheel, fd just needs a little tweaking and may change axle for shorter to see if makes exchange 100% with chain line difference
rollin'with a rolls and cinelli bar tape with spuds pics tomorrow
