Nice, that.

Dood, silver Thomson seatpost is definitely in order. Would say black stem but silver post would tie in with the hubs nicely!

What are the wheels?

You buy the mechanism from Ritchey and pay a licence fee.
The system is used by quite a lot of builders - see here for an example: http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=162108

cheers, do you think i could swap 7 speed freewheel for an 8 on current hub?
-
• #99885
8-speed needs 130mm OLN hub, 7-speed fits on 126mm OLN
-
• #99886
to be sure, 8 speed is freewheel, not cassette, will check hub size

any idea how much on top it adds? I've recently got a quote from a builder for the same thing of 200eur but he was going to do his own thing .. my thinking is rather than paying 24.7% duty which is about £350 extra + shipping I'd just buy tickets to murica for a holiday; get the frame there; build; ride; pack and take back with me ..

This weekend the JYD got new tyres courtesy of @BareNecessities
I'm supposed to build the new wheels, get a new chaining and brakes but it rides so well as is I'm questioning wether its still worth the money doing these things.

Cheers, wasn't sure what the budget for local custom was, so thought I'd just throw that out there assuming import duties and taxes would be factored in.

reckon i can use the 8 speed brifters on a 7 speed freewheel as spacing meant pretty much compatible, least till i make up mind about making a 8 wheelset, and finished drilling stay bridge caliper hole on alan, mudguards en route, so should be on road this week
