  • the head tube is as long as the forks - check

    apollo sized !

  • Yo Dawg, I heard you like head tubes...

  • that's heightist.... ;)

  • Footlong headtube!
This is gonna be awesome I know

  • almost a foot, yes! (well, 25cm!) got some 2nd gen C-Record cranks and NOS Omega Vs that I'm gonna build up into a nice wheelset. Most other parts borrowed from Plum for now, which I'm toying with selling, but I'm a bit emotionally invested to that frame :D :D :D

  • ^Deadly Frame, Tis Huge. Omega V's will look swell, Aerospokes wouldn't go astray IMHO.

  • Cheers, pink ones yeah?

    P. S. You Irish?

  • I am, 'tis the big man in the photo on his High Nelly.

I keep forgetting to call them blade spokes.

  • me in Glendaloch, Co. Wicklow.

  • ahah Aerospokes are slightly different to bladed spokes!

My housemate was from Wicklow too, said 'deadly' all the time. Except when Ireland would lose in rugby, then he'd throw chairs across the room.

  • My front wheel. Cracked the hub cycling to/from the picture above.

  • must have broke a lot of chairs so....haha

  • Started on this today my NS Analog. In quite a state and undecided either to paint or raw but whatever its gonna take some work.

  • buy my 48h Velocity Chukker wheelset and keep it as is... perfect trick/beater.

  • I would have but I got some wheels coming...just outta interest how much do you want for them?.

  • Went down a frame size in CAADs. Tinkered with all the bikes in the shed as well. Was a good day off. Probably should have ridden instead.

  • New pub bike...

Fun riding a bike that fits.

  • My winter bike is ready

    Pinnacle Dolomite Six
    Schwalbe One tubeless tyres
    mudguards
    sorted

  • v nice. i wish our winters were snow-less too.

  • Best bike as it stands .. might need 120mm instead of 110; we'll see

    With addition of:

  • Help me calculate chain link/wheelposition length:

Will a 50T chainring on a 15T cog with one extra chain link added, put the wheel in the exact same position relative to the BB as a 48T chainring on a 15T cog .

Bonus question: 1 complete chain link is (2x1.27 centimeters)=2.54cm - so adding 1 teeth on the rear sprocket will move the wheel position (1.27/2)=0.635 centimeters closer to the BB?

  • @amey Why take pics facing sunlight? Almost as annoying as HDR'ing everything.
