If they have that in stock i'll be surprised, Tredz are total shit munchers.
Constantly saying that they have things in stock when they dont
They don't even claim to have the 29.6 in stock. Triton do, but I'd trust that claim even less as their site says 'In Stock' for all 29 sizes. Never had any trouble with Tredz apart from a longer than expected delay on my Pro disc, and they were properly responsive over that.

Just put this together today (some parts from my Makino, some part came with the frame), but already happy with the build. Will try new stem/bar combo, new chain (fuck DID) and will change the headset for something more modern...

Poor quality photo but I've finally got this 14bikeco 14r on the road and I'm loving it.
I need to get some shorter chainring bolts and once I've got some cash I'll change the seatpost.

You swap your Makino for that?

I think the secret is actually your 'short, fast rides' rather than 'actual rides'.
I guess it depends on a lot of things, including road conditions and your definition of an 'actual ride' but I've done over a hundred miles on 32c tyres and a good 70 on 23c with Fizik tape with no bother. Just about to put it on my new road bike too with the intention of doing some 100 mile plus rides, again on 23c tyres. Do wear padded gloves though on longer rides.

I was mainly just trolling Xander.
But I found soft touch Microtex without padding underneath on heavy, stiff alu bars meant I had pins and needles in a couple of my fingers for weeks after a hilly fixed ride. Part of that was probably gripping on the grips for dear life while spinning out downhill, and admittedly I have never had a problem with it on my road bike which is a bit more comfortable. I bought gloves with gel padding on after that as well.
