  • If you're tyre is splitting it goes between tyre and tube, protecting the tube and getting you home.

  • I have a saddlebag for your needs if you are in London .. this: http://www.bikepack.eu/files/img_4125.jpg

    In camo: http://bikepack.pl/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=20&product_id=52

mhh are you selling this amey?
I would be interested if yes.

  • yes sir 40 notes collected; can be seen here on bike: http://distilleryimage6.ak.instagram.com/638f7d9c335d11e3af4522000a1f8f13_8.jpg

  • Is it the large or the medium?

  • large

  • in the polish webshop you linked to they're all sold out?

    looks huge btw!

  • yeah; it has 2 jackets; 2 locks and some other clothes in it

  • ^ good stuff. I'll take it off you then. PM on it's way.

  • A monster of a ride.

You could perhaps switch the spare tyre for tyre boots (cut pieces of used tyre) if needed.

it will be more testing for the bum than for the legs I suspect, we're planning on a 25kph average ;-)

tyre boots are a good idea, thanks. I think all tyre and tool bits (and some candy bars) will fit in the saddlebag though, I can open a zipper to increase the volume.

  • Dammit, amey, i'll call second dibs please

  • sh!t i think trumilk is pretty certain to collect this tomorrow; i'll let you know otherwise .. will go well with the dickies camo shorts ..

  • my thoughts exactly, although they've just had to be repaired because I've almost worn though them.

  • Finally finished my road bike, rides fantastic really stoked with it.

Fits well, feels quick and comfortable, just what I wanted.

Still not that keen on the red & yellow, original plan was to repaint but may just get some white decals cut I think that could look good.

  • 7800 is the best looking DA by far and you've done justice to it

  • Cheers amey!

  • personally i'd keep the yellow/red paintjob; looks rad tbh

  • ^^^^ Tidy!

  • is it inch or 1 1/8?

personally i'd keep the yellow/red paintjob; looks rad tbh

You don't see many 1 1/8 quill stems about, do you?

  • ah yes soz

  • Yeah got some DA spd to go on but was out running errands, want to treat myself to some speedplays soon, stem is indeed 1 inch.

  • 7800 is the best looking DA by far and you've done justice to it

    nah tho.

  • sweet bike TM! Looks fast. How about some yellow brake/shifter cables :-)

(ps sorry I've not gotten back to you about the chainrings. workshop's still a mess)

  • ^^ u mad bro?!

  • Peter I can't tell if you're pulling my leg re yellow cables... No worries on the chainring one of my friends had a nuovo record in his parts bin which he gave me.

The bike feels fast to me, hoping to put in plenty of happy miles on it.

I was a bit torn over what group to fit, almost went for new grey ultegra but thought the DA would suit the build, newest DA is very nice looking rogan not sure if that's what you're referring to but up till that I think 7800 is the nicest, looks classy and subtle, maybe we like different things.
