A monster of a ride.
You could perhaps switch the spare tyre for tyre boots (cut pieces of used tyre) if needed.
it will be more testing for the bum than for the legs I suspect, we're planning on a 25kph average ;-)
tyre boots are a good idea, thanks. I think all tyre and tool bits (and some candy bars) will fit in the saddlebag though, I can open a zipper to increase the volume.

Finally finished my road bike, rides fantastic really stoked with it.
Fits well, feels quick and comfortable, just what I wanted.
Still not that keen on the red & yellow, original plan was to repaint but may just get some white decals cut I think that could look good.

sweet bike TM! Looks fast. How about some yellow brake/shifter cables :-)
(ps sorry I've not gotten back to you about the chainrings. workshop's still a mess)
-
• #94874
^^ u mad bro?!

Peter I can't tell if you're pulling my leg re yellow cables... No worries on the chainring one of my friends had a nuovo record in his parts bin which he gave me.
The bike feels fast to me, hoping to put in plenty of happy miles on it.
I was a bit torn over what group to fit, almost went for new grey ultegra but thought the DA would suit the build, newest DA is very nice looking rogan not sure if that's what you're referring to but up till that I think 7800 is the nicest, looks classy and subtle, maybe we like different things.
If you're tyre is splitting it goes between tyre and tube, protecting the tube and getting you home.
