Second part of my gitane piste. ....I quite like it, but I think I agree about the handlebars. Also, needs better photography to show it off.

looks good, try to loosen the bolt, don't force as could snap or you will twist forks
following on from the post in the nag thread, defo a super, saw one the other day with chromed ht lugs, one dt and dt crimp and crimps inside the chain stays, nice pieces, wonder how they would compare stiffness wise to the normal un profiled super? -

thanks Saarf, always nice.
No way I always thought it was a Mexico, Oh well Super it is.
I had the fork off and I just can't understand the reason, will find out over winter as I plan on re building it, I gave my Peugeot (http://i.imgur.com/fgw6FsF.jpg) a 100% Overhaul not long ago so I Knows me bits and bobs.
can't comment on the difference between the two supers as have not tried the other.
I think a Gimondi Drop handlebar could be the answer !

Finished building my LHT :) I know it's not terribly exciting but I like it. Much comfy, such upright. Obviously steerer is going to be cut down asap.

I like it too barring the bars. I think compact drops would be the thing. Also is that a US of America kerchief around the seat cluster?

I find my super great for taking the harshness out of the road, especially the rear triangle. Great for hill climbing.

my current project: trying to fit
3 inner tubes
1 spare folding tyre
1 pump
bike tools
swiss knife
wind jacket
rain jacket
set leg warmers
set arm warmers
8 energy bars
4 cake bars
6 bananas
20 sandwiches
front and rear light
telephone
Garmin
Battery pack
wallet...and maybe even a lock into the 3 bags currently attached to my everyday racing bike (normally there is not 1, I hate even the smallest of saddle bags ;-)) Hope that's enough for a 500k/24h ride (we'll eat pasta/pancakes etc. 3 times on the way as well)

A monster of a ride.
You could perhaps switch the spare tyre for tyre boots (cut pieces of used tyre) if needed.
