indra put record on it, classy, simple and relatively cheap, (got mine from ribble at £170)... if the issue of the square taper is the longevity you can always get centaur bb for peanuts (be careful for chainstays clearance though!)

I decided to take care of the Fondriest and turn it into a beater again

^^
the bottle cage mount blocking the graphics doesn't do the build justice.
the £30 is worth having a tidy build

If you have enough post showing to make that work.

Thanks noiser but this is just a temporary saddle I borrowed from a friend. He wanted rid of it because he couldn't bear it too!

it qctually looks pretty level!

Noiser, i'd rather have my bottle where i can reach it! might just get a pair of cage mounts put in the frame.

I just built this up. Havent been this excited bout a bike in a long time. Obv need a front brake. Need a really long nut which i dident bring, its a massive fork crown.
Having a cold but the maiden voyage of 1 km gravel and a few 100 meters of pavement is done :-) seem wonderful but time will tell!

Stem sorted thanks to Noiser and new wheels.

I dont even own a pair of road pedals. At least not any current versions. I use all my bikes for work and cant really work in road shoes.

Whenever I've changed position/saddle/haven't ridden in a while, I find I tend to try and sit to far forward, with rather obvious discomfort.
Just a shift back a bit to get the sit bones where they're supposed to be does wonders, I just have to remind myself every so often!

What kind of work can you do on a £7,000 colnago?!
Kalavinka.
