Do those Open Pave tyres only come in green?
Annoyingly yes, but they're great tyres.

Best bike freshened up for a trip to France in a couple of weeks. New cassette and chain. New 28mm Conti 4 Seasons. New Arundel tape feels awesome. New Zoncolan with cut out for some long days in the saddle on this years Fireflies Tour, including my first visit to Ventoux. Can't wait.

Almost finished a little piece of paper with the corner folded over?

Yep SPDs. Anti for some I know, but I get on very well with these and a battered pair of Sidi Dominators - makes any walking I need to do very easy, and the pedals are Euxstars which weigh in at 270g, so reasonably light. Also I have SPDs on my commuter and on my touring bike so means I can use the same shoes for everything.

I'm wandering what to do with this at the moment:
With the Dolan (dismantled and no signs of cracks but not stripped yet so we'll see) off the road for the time being, I put my omniums on here and remembered that I have to add a spacer to the drive side like this:
To avoid the spider hitting the chain stay. Is it possible to get it crimped so I can have a decent chain line?
I've also been wondering about having the gear lever braze ons taken off. It's hardly a classic so I don't think I'd be puppy killing and I'm never going to put gears on this.I'm not sure of he history of this frame. It's previous owner thought the dropouts had been changed by a more previous owner. The rear spacing of 130 would support this. I'm tempted to have it cold set to 120 too.
Any thoughts?
Edit: other than how to properly embed these photos.

Fixed.

^^ That frame gets about.
I used to have Sugino75's fitted there without problems. I guess Omniums are a bit chunkier.
It used to be a road frame, and drop outs were gone before me. -

That's a gorgeous piece of paper, madman. Paint's awesome. Shame you had to slay a puppy.

Aaaaand BB30 creaking, big time, almost immediately (20 miles in maybe?). Heart = broken. Any tips? Google search isn't instilling me with confidence. I love the frame and don't want to have to scrap it.

Doubtful, what material was the sleeve made from?

? It's a CAAD10 frame with SRAM standard BB30 bearings. Definitely coming from the BB. Bank holiday means might not be able to get it checked until Tuesday now.

Some shop open on bank holiday, abet a shorter opening time, if it's a fairly new bike, you can get it sorted under warranty.

Didnt dammit have a similar problem with his supersix that ended up actually being the rear skewer not being tight enough? Worth trying.

Definitely the BB. I can feel it slightly through the right crank arm, and the sound is coming from there.

Can't do that unfortunately. We'll see what the bike shops say. Very frustrating through. It feels perfect apart from that. Been looking forward to finishing it for months, and now basically unridable. Sucks. Back to the Peugeot for the time being it seems.

Good shout.
I've not ridden anything smaller than 28c for a good 8 months. I just need to get used to skinny tyres again :-)
could a solution be on the horizon?

Howard's been through BB30 woes. Perhaps he'll chime-in.
I've no 1st hand experience of them but did notice there are some workaround products emerging like this >>>. King and Acros make things too.

New build for my wife. She wanted a pub / wet weather commuter with a front basket.
Bought this yesterday from a swap meet. Built for 27" wheels with mudguard eyelets. No idea on the age or make. The cable routing is above the BB shell, but it has vertical dropouts (?). 27.2mm seat post, nice lugs. The yellow is fluoro, but doesn't show in the photo that well. Plan to run it as a 1x7 with a bar end shifter and 700x32 tyres.
Then I bought these. I have everything else to build it up except for the full mudguards, cables and chain.

Aren't those fenders behind the handlebar?
A little Dremel Magicâ„¢ and you're done.
