Still needs little things doing (trim cable outers, change and align tyres are the main two) but rideable and I can't be bothered till I have more free time.
Running cables through the Integralters really really sucked, maybe this is the real reason they're mostly seen on brakless fixies. My neighbour asked me if everything was OK after all the shouting and swearing.
Vitsoe shelving.
Fritz Hansen table. Excellent taste.

I'm currently building an old giant cadex as a bit of a runaround.
Hit a bit of a snag.
Do I need a different cable end for the rear section of cable that loops from the mount to the derailleur. I can't fit a standard cable end into the mount on the chainstay.
Here's a pic...
That's the description I was looking for!
I'll google it.
I'll post some pics of the bike later in case anyone's interested. It's nowt special mind. Bit of a parts bin number.Law, please post some pics later,
I'm putting the same frame back together today, found the last piece I'd lost yesterday! -

That is lovely theo; what is the tubing? Saddle yellow not matching bar tape makes me sad :(

It's only Cromor. Bit heavy but it's a nice ride and seems plenty stiff enough. The saddle is kind of temporary until I find something more rad or maybe recover it again with better material.

there's a yellow Ti flite up for sale:

I don't like the ones with stitching and shit on the sides
plus I don't want to spend money to replace a yellow ti flite with a different shade of yellow ti flite -

nice is that one.

Cheers for the link, I'm glad you didn't want it because I've PM'd him already.
Going from zero to tasteless on my track bike. Might get yellow tape next.

Wrong you are not.

Just a theoretical question, I have a nice SLX frame with 126 OLD and some DA 7400/7410 bits. I'd like to keep the classic look, but modernize the drivetrain/ shifting. Would a 7400 double crankset work good in combination with 7800 shifters and mechs (I guess I would try squeezing in a wheel with 130 overlocknut distance and a 10 speed casette)?

Get the rear cold set by a pro, shouldn't cost that much.

Got a Retul bike fit tuesday morning and then thought a 40m debut ride was a good idea after forgetting to oil chain after cleaning... ouch.
On another topic, anyone know if running a 10spd cx top pull front mech will work ok with 6800 drivetrain?
Anyone?

The official compatibility chart says no. FD-CX70 works with ST-6700, ST-5700, ST-4600

This is really tremendous. Are integralters intended for a slacker head tube angle than that?
It's partly the photo but yes presumably, this has a 74° headtube and they're a little off level. It's harder to tell in real life and not enough to notice riding.

I actually quite like the look of the saddle on that.

Me too!

Track?
Is that 1" headtube or 1 1/8"?
-
• #93221
Very track! 1" headtube, which is a pain. Need to sale or swap my threaded mizuno forks for threadless
-
• #93222
Very track, such aluminium. I have some threadless Mizuno forks, I still have half a mind to put them to use, but if I don't I will let you know. How much steerer would you need?
-
• #93223
Ooh, shiny. 230mm
-
• #93224
I think my forks have exactly that. But I want to try them on my orange Donohue.

I'm building up a dolan pre cursa and with a load of free parts from a friend of mine, I'm very close to finishing. It's nothing special I know, but really looking forward to not riding a stupidly heavy beater anymore.
One of the free things I got is a set of FSA Gossamer cranks, which are pretty good. The only problem is the frame currently has a JIS BB in it and the FSA cranks are ISO. Seeing as the BB is nothing special and a bit used at this point, I thought I might replace it. I think the pre cursa takes a 110mm BB, is this right?
These are Vredestein Ricorso that came on the wheels, will put on Michelin Pro4 like I had before.
Might do the logo on the post yeah, forgot about that.
