Back in the day when keirin riders ran their FC-7600 cranks, what bottom bracket did they use? I've seen some scans of the whole track line and there is a bb-7600 but never seen one. Do they exist?

I use mine on a sugino 75/75 super lap ISO BB but that's only because I have them already. They're fine on JIS too.

Lobster is nice. But massive seatpost. Is that even safe?

I run mine on a shimano bb which isn't optimal

They do, I had one:

That's a BB-7610 sealed cartridge. BB-7600 is the loose ball BB for NJS

was going to get some mudguards and a rack for this.

What do people reckon to black or silver? Id i was going silver i'd probably get some giles berthound guards. I'm worried it may be too shiney.

Do you ride that in SW London?
Clearance look way too tight, Crudracer might be your best bet (unless they're bigger than 23mm).

A friend of mine has started building frames, So I asked him to build me something. Its a columbus max singlespeed cross bike / daily city bike.
Still have to get it dialed in and tidied up. Enjoy.
Those seatstays are sexy, but that orange has got to go

I ride in Nottingham, the bike may of originally been around that way though. I bought it from the original owner (it has his initial on the BB shell) who was down south somewhere.
I think the photo may be misleading. The brakes are only standard drops but the pads are all the way at the bottom. If I'm honest the slots need filing another mm to get the pads to sit better. Currently on 25mm tyres. I used to have a Surly Pacer, which had similar clearances and I managed to get chromoplastics in without a problem. Are the GBs that much bigger?

BB-7610 is NJS too, also a bit crap though. 7600s will work with any NJS BB - 75, hatta, suntour, shimano ect. Can also be converted to Jizz if you work out the right length

Picked this up a couple of weeks super cheap. In poor nick and done up with some nasty parts. Changed stem/bars/shifter/mech to silver, new bar tape, bit of tlc to the chrome and paint and she's good to go.

^ big fan of that frame.

Tidy looking build too, unless that's an ugly stem being tactically hidden!
-
• #92891
It's certainly an ahead, but it looks okay I think.

I've also tried (unsuccessfully) to hide the missing head badge ;)
Na, just a standard silver BBB stem, nothing special but to be honest the frame deserves more than I could afford to spend on the build. (for now)

The modern parts are ok. It looks like a great bike.

• #92894
Yeah I'm a fan too, not opposed to silver ahead at all.

I have very little clearance between the cassette and my frame on the above shorter. Am I okay to stick a spacer on the drive side?
-
• #92896
You've probably already spaced it from 126mm to 130mm, but I'd just try a small spacer. Or maybe a smaller cog on the cassette?
-
• #92898
My wheel old is definitely 130, I'll try a 2mm spacer.

Oh shit, your gf's bike is better than mine. :(
Looks lovely, she running braklss?

Agree with dicki, this is super. What bars are those?
