  • agreed, fine somec, some man hours in that decor

  • Sounds like a PITA build really. Still looks great to me for what it's worth. What is that bar/stem setup?

  • ^ cinelli grammo stem, either soma higway one or nitto m106 compact bars

  • Think they were Nitto M106.

  • Noice Somec. It like invisibrul

    Thanks guys,

I had bought it for the paintjob, I'd found it in Hungary, but I guess it come frome Austria (name of austrian club on the top tube)

I will improve it a bit when I will be back in France.

  • Poppy's All City Dropout is now in spring commuter mode.

Switched out the full fitted SKS Chromoplastic mudguards and 38c Marathon Plus tyres for much lighter 45c Resist Nomads and a Wit Industries foldable mudguard. And now also with basket :)

(Contrary to what the photo might suggest, the basket is not actually sat on the tyre! There's plenty of clearance…)

  • ^ Rad setup, great pics too

Well the "joke" here (Austria) is is that all stolen bikes from Austria end up there.

  • oof, buy only those with provenance then

  • Picked up a Raleigh Royal for my girlfriend last week. She wasn't bowled over by the utilitarian look so I made something more cheerful.

  • That looks superb!

  • Looks really great!

  • Finished this one last week and took it out a few times. Pretty comfy ride. Interesting to feel wobbling over cobbles, it's not so stiff I guess :) (doesn't matter).

I'm stuck with some extra parts after the build, for sale on here as a groupset.

well at least not from sketchy man with a van outfits. they are the ones i always see checking out full bike racks that are mysteriesly empty yet full of cut locks the next day.

  • and there's me thinking they were just polka dancers!

    Thanks.

I stripped down the bike after winter and gave it a proper service, built it back up RHD as I fancied a change. Bikes looks much better with a RHD drivetrain IMO. :)

  • Who was that guy who built his bikes up LHD, and built his own aero Sugino chainring? Is he still about?

  • whittle?

    I love it. Good work!
