Having seen the above cockpit I feel compelled to post a new bar/stem combo fitted to Gitane this morning.
130mm of Tig welded goodness.
Reduced angle & increased length increased ass comfort no end vs. previous incarnation

Makes me want to bodge something together myself

Why did I think this cracked and died last year?
It's still cracked, I'm just going to keep riding it and keep an eye on the welds which is why all the stress points around the seat tube have had the paint removed.

I didn't get an answer to this in the Carbon repair thread, so thought I'd post it here to see if anyone could shed some light on my situation:
So I've got a cracked carbon saddle...
Not a large crack, but a crack nonetheless. The crack is on the edge of the saddle about halfway down the body and is hard to see even if I put pressure on it.
Is there a way I can fix it or is there a magical carbon wizard who can help save it?
I'd like to think there is a way of fixing it. Maybe by layering a couple more layers of carbon on the top of the saddle and some extra on the underside where the crack is. Anyone have any recommendations?

Now with silver post, silver bars, soyo champ grips and blackened rims. I really need to find a pair of mtb sidi's for cheap so I can fit the ATACs.
looking really nice, I think a black headset would finish off the black silver mix !!

Are you in Leeds? Noticed the LSF and Restrap stickers on the bianchi! If so, do I know you? I'm the guy riding around on the orange KHS and the bike I'm about to post below.

Anyway, the Donohue has had a couple of minor updates today, new, more puncture resistant tyres and a new and really clean looking chain. All in preparation for riding it to and from Paris in a couple of weeks. I'm absolutely loving riding this bike.

I promise the chain isn't white.

• #91394
That is really sharp, such a clean machine.

Have you got enough brake cable to flip the stem if you need to?
-
• #91399
Is that stem 6cm long?

Better(lighter) looking saddle and some sensible bars and stem combination(thanks to DeathDrive for sourcng them for me cheaply)
Looking forward to get some SG75'shttp://i.imgur.com/a0a9zgi.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/a0a9zgi.jpgbtw, anyone here got Sugino super ceramic bottom bracket fitted ?
If you had some bent tribar extensions, you probably wouldn't feel compelled to fit them with those alarming grips.
