Ah yes that one, was your wrist ok in the end?
-
• #90928
yes.... rode to Archway and had an xray, scored some killer painkillers but all was good in the end

wearing a 32c RiBMo on the back now and also a Thomson layback, still not 100% set on tyres. saddles gonna go too. set up in 48x19 fun gear for now, which feels a little odd with layback and bullhorns. will either change to 50 or 52x 19 or just chuck on some risers
best paintjob ever

Bit of accidental cyclocross practice today in Oxfordshire.
65 miles or so ride, 5 miles of mud done v slowly!
Still slipping a bit mid cassette so not really sure what's going on there. Otherwise perfect

http://static.lfgss.com/attachments/82271d1396104893-image.jpgClassics practice? I once accidentally did the same on my fixed to avoid a closed road with track drops and 48:15! I was rather glad to see the tarmac around the corner!

Nice. What's the max size (slick-ish) tyre you think the CAAD 10 would take?
Any chance of 700x28c (ie Rivendell Roll-y Pol-y)? -

25c is just about as big as I've put on there, don't think its got much more clearance.
Yes, lets call it classics practice.
I really enjoy the occasional wrong route and that was great fun.
Except the really big puddles. -

Is that a 32c Rando? if so how dose it ride?
Could get some 32c Pasela's

Hopping the Prochrome/Tig welded stem bandwagon
Also this $25,- seatpost turned out to be very nice. Getting gray cotton tape and a new chain.

29c is the max on the CAAD10 (with Ultegra brakes).

Finally got the Hetchins rolling again, went with the VO bar rather than the nitto moustache as this gives a more relaxed position. Still need to change the mechs for record ones I have, swap out the tyres for pasela 28s I got from ewanmac (thanks) then I've got some nice high flange record hubs on nos ma40s to go on at some point. Lovely looking bike this, even if I do say so myself.

He just said it was a 32c RibMo. You even quoted it.

My favourite angle for upright handlebars is still about 45º, if you ever see an old Raleigh three speed without a home, try those out.

That's a Rando in the picture though...

do love that Cougar, paint is lovely. Not sure about your pedal choice...
Slightly better photo of Hetchins, I've got some Campag quill pedals somewhere at my mums, need to dig them out as the MKS ones on there are a bit nasty...

The Cougar is wicked. Nothing matches but it should be fast.
Pedals are for riding around the kitchen?

Just noticed the top tube, what's the story there?
Thanks dudes
Sorry about the bartape, still can't justify changing it after sliding out in Cambridge...
