  • if i do i'll get the rims done too but i'm not sure many places have baths that big

Metro have baths big enough for rims

  • Caustic soda bath?

    Wouldn't that dissolve the alu?

  • oooohhhh, free collection in my area too, seems like a definite for the rims, but for the handlebars i'd be worried about never getting the bars central again...

also tester, isn't there somewhere in Slough you use for you're things? do they have baths big enough?

  • Wouldn't that dissolve the alu?

    You dilute it

I use Metro, only just up the road and I'm always passing through Uxbridge.

  • ah sweet, when i've got things sorted i'll give them a ring to work out the best type for each part

  • commuter spec

  • How tall are you B0N0R?

  • Fast forward a few days and after *a lot *of bubblewrap (there's a frame in there somewhere)

I had this, a KHS Aero track 1999

    Wiv dem fadezzz

    Real nice Blake.

  • MØRDER

    MØRDER 2

    Build plans:
What you see in the picture above +
Mavic Cosmic Pro Alu with Mack Superlight 16h at the back (delivery next week)
    Ergostem
    Riser
    Yellow Rolls
    Starfish chainset
    Platforms/Straps
    Big Wald

Got a thing for yellow right now it seems.

53.5 c-c or 59.5 cm c-t which makes it like a 55 ish. 55cm c-c top tube. Which is like a good 4cm less than I usally ride. Oh my word.

This will be fun as hell to ride I think.

  • Cheers :) hubs arrived yet?

  • 4 cm less?

  • 16h rear is a bit dangerous for street (brakeless or not) IMO

  • How tall are you B0N0R?

    6'2"

  • this is hopefully on it's way to me
    cinelli the next machine
    Columbus max or
    campagnolo gruppo
    pos nos!!!

If it worked for cyclists that pushed watts back in 96 it'll work for me no problem. 130kg on the driveside.

  • 4 cm less?

    Always fun mate

  • saarf. how long before Cinelli MTB collection overtakes Colnago?
    E-stay is brilliant
Tyres look fun - Onza Porcupine?

Yeah, I agree on the silver/black issue but can't be arsed doing a tear down. Many spokes is a needs must as I need a bombproof set - am heavy tall rider. Rim height is hhsb.

If only one spoke broke on a skid you will brake your rim, surly your frame a hopfely not your tooths.
Did you ones change a spoke on a 16h wheel ?

Take strong spokes by the way.
    Have a nice day Thrust

No worries, I rarely skid. And I'll use Macs' bladed spokes so it's all good.

    494 or 494C?

  • I think I'll go with the 494. The c is a bit thinner in the middle and is wider right?

  • Yes, it's flattened even more.

  • Yeah, don't think I'll need that. Would you recommend them? The price point is pretty good for 20pcs, like 10 quid or so.
