  • Paul Mini Moto is a nice but very pricey option too.

  • Look like you can get the RX5 in silver after all;

  • Thanks guys! Will go for the RX5's, black, as they're quite easily to get. Won't go for Paul's as the bike is not worth those.

  • This is the bike:

    And this is the group:

Got the group with a compact crankset and a 42 and 34 inner ring, so used the 42 as an outer, we'll see if it will work. Because of the clearances it's be more of a gravel bike and winter roadie.

First of all I've got to remove those bloody TA cranks..

  • ^ French thread crank pullers are a b*tch to find, but you work in a bike shop don't you?

    What length are those TA's?

btw that's a brutal Cross Trophy, like!

  • I do, but they must be in some drawer somewhere... can't find them and we never have to use them hehe. They're 170.

Hehe, thanks, ninja edit :P It's indeed a Cross Trophy and not a CM, unfortunately.

  • gheghe, ninja edit ftw ;-) thanks for your pm, nice.

you'll have to watch out on bumps/braking hard with that clearance?

  • It's not that bad, and headset hasn't been installed yet ;)!

  • I love it already.

  • B E A utiful.
Is that cable housing a very light tan of blue, or are my eyes fooking with me?

  • Nah they're just white, it's just Flickr's resizing algorithm hardining the edges a little I think.

  • Looks rad, but tape your bars better!

meh, what's wrong with it (beyond missing that bit under the levers which seems superfluous to me)?

  • This cromoblue is awesome !
    26,8 or 27,2 gipiemme seatpost ?

  • meh, what's wrong with it (beyond missing that bit under the levers which seems superfluous to me)?

according to Park Tool tutorial, you've done nothing wrong.

but it looks better with the lever clamp covered.

27,2mm, may let it go eventually, but not yet, not until i've decided how or if I make changes.

  • Newly-built Moser on a mid-nineties TT theme.
Not their finest ever paint scheme but it's growing on me.

  • Very very tidy

  • mid-nineties TT theme

By the mid 90s we all had tribars.

That bike needs drops and Ergopower/STI, the bullhorns would still look comical even without the pedestrian-stabbing gear lever.

I'm just going to leave this here...
75s and a DA 53t ring go on tomorrow

  • You keeping the disc, looks awesome?

  • Yep disc stays with me :)

  • Can't work out if it's the angle of the photo, or the bars, but looks like they needs rotating forwards, apart from that it's damn tasty.

  • Built up for a spin.

  • ^^have since been rotated forwards

  • ...pedestrian-stabbing...

    I'll take two.
