And a proper saddle...
And tires -

Ain't nothing wrong with the retro turbo saddle. Tyres need some thinking over though. Gators in the rain are crap

Will look into it. Dont think I can cope with doing a massive skid through red light when a police car is waiting at the lights again. Pace palm

A tyre isn't going to teach you breakless....

I think it was because I skidded on a kind of painted surface. If it was a normal road surface I would have stopped in time. Plus it was wet.

By "been" do you mean bead? If so, what's not fun about wire bead? (unless you're trying to fit them in your bag/pocket)?

Tonic Supernaut - suppose to have passed this on now the Burls is back on the road, but I just can't seem to do it. Been loving riding it over the last year, and still do. Currently in city (upright, one gear, no rushing) mode. could do with a cm, or two extra on the stem and some more dampening grips.
Still kicking myself for not buying this

yeah i meant bead. I just find them a pain to take on and off. especially when my rims are matt black.

What are my options for a sealed bearing ISO bolt on cog hubs?
I've made a little list of what I know to be available, but everything is either expensive or out of stock
Surly hub:
Would be perfect for price and quality; but they don't seem to be available any more as they have been replaced by -
The Surly Ultra Hub
Which is reasonably pricey becoming quite expensive once you factor in the 120mm conversion kit too
Livery Design Gruppe
seemingly not available anywhere or only in places that don't offer UK shipping
Phil Wood
Way out of my price bracket sadly.
I wonder if there are any mtb hubs I can convert? and then get a matching non-disc version to use as the front?
Before anyone suggests the Shimano XT M756
I've already used these on three wheels sets, and i'm never totally happy with them, hence me wanting something a bit posher.
Aint no bike without drops!
