this is a strange cat
carbon tubes alu lugs
head tube stamp same as dual and carbitubo, also same stay bridge, seatpost cluster, drop outs, and tt cable guides, all shared with alan
one guide is damaged, so i took one the same from an alan donor
not seen this frame before, maybe a c40 precursorhow are you reattaching the cable guide? i have an alan carbonio languishing in a box after the bolt holding one broke off

if the cable guide on yours are the same, they should have a tiny screw attaching it to the top tube, and a little bonding agent holding it in place, a tweek or wiggle should free it
I will tape around the offending area on the colnago , then cut round with a scalpel, then try to remove, where the guide was painted with the frame, I'm worried that if I pull it orf, it could take some of the tt paint with it, hence scalpel procedure
still had no more real feed back, apart from that it maybe Mapei GB colours

am I gonna break this?
If you do, send it back for a refund on the basis of not being fit for the advertised purpose:

What's wrong with the one that's in there? Looks like the Tester Approved Kalloy SP248. On the other hand, since there's no accounting for taste, I have this cluttering up my parts bin which might be more to your liking
It's way too small. I could shim it (it's currently beer can shimmed) but I can't find the equivalent in a 26.4 anywhere.
Does your seat post weigh a ton? It's anything but a weenie build but it's heavy enough as it is so I'm trying to go easy on the components.

I actually prefer the GT - have you considered an inline post?

I made an order @ CRC, clipless shoes, pedals and an Inline seatpost but it got lost...
I realise that my Mielec and this are a bit big for me. They're both 54cm and I'm 1.75m, but it seems I've got short legs. So yes, inline seatpost is in the plan, and a Flite maybe.

given the extended seattube and the stem not being uberchode-y it seems fine

wawo verry nice GT no need to compare
Although there have something to do with the saddle and to undertake the bottle cage(s). But otherwise it is so close to porn.
What are the mudguards? stem ? seatpost ?
Deda ? -

No, I think it's lighter than the Kalloy, I can stick it on the scales when I get home to check.

Deda ? miche ?Thanks Gaston! M'enfin...
So: SKS Blumels 35mm; Stem is a old style copy of the Deda Murex, look above, the new design of the murex is rounded on the front and doesn't have a "spine" anymore, it'a Black Sheep quill stem, it was on CRC 6 months ago but I can't find it anywhere anymore. Seatpost is Deda RS01.As for the saddle, the little thing at the back is a little bracket I made to attach my Caradice saddle bag as it would touch the wheel when empty if I attached it to the saddle rails. It looks rather ugly being made from a L-shapped Alu profile but it does the job... I'm thinking of putting a Tubus fly rear rack instead of using the caradice.

Finished up my own Lo recently which was built at the Affinity shop in Brooklyn (and flew back with me). It's the shape of a bandwagon, but it's so much fun.

Never really understood the whole point/idea behind the AMHA thread, am I the only one?
Hi gabby. In the begginning it was a project ( like kiss kiss bank bank ) for a vintage mtb deluxe.
Then the project was failed by diverses raisons.
Then again, a conglomerat of french people came into that topic to make something interesting.
It as 20 000 views, so it is something very famous now. You can say n'importe what into dixit the greatest Shaman Gaston.
The biggest french egos are là-bas!
Why AMHA?Go read pignonfixe.com : at the beggining we were 2 people abusing of that logorée. Now there, everybody use that. It is our little Pavlov experiement.

Steel.
…
Erm, Cielo stainless frames use KVA tubing but their non-stainless frames are apparently a mix of True Temper, Columbus and Dedacciai. I don't know which tubesets specifically.

Untitled by 40 skid patches, on FlickrBought some rb010s and ended up sticking the black wheelset back on this after I inevitably stripped the threads on the halo/charge hub. Also put the DA cranks and 51t chainring on.
Still waiting on a new stem and wheelset.
