This is nearly done now. I need to sort out the rear wheel situation, and get a nicer chainring, but that's about it!
Really like that, simple and pretty intense to ride I imagine.Love the simplistic cockpit too. Any more pics?

Which cogs are OK for vintage campag track hubs?
So far I have tried EAI and Phil - the difference being that the EAI is about 0.5mm wider than the Phil, meaning I get less lockring threads...
I guess I need a 19t Phil - anyone selling a used one? Or any recommendations on narrower cogs that will allow me to have 'access' to more lockring threads?

This is pretty much done now, although I think I'll need a shorter stem to allay my back problems/secure my entrance into the T-Rex Brotherhood...

Looks good, maybe compact drops would solve your back problem but still allow a decent length stem?

I really like that chainring, what is it/where did you get it from?

The bars are pretty shallow already, but it's worth keeping in mind, good point. Will buy a cheap stem from ebay or something and if that doesn't fix it might have to go for something super compact.

@boredom its a one23 chainring, cheapest i could find as i needed to finish the build but am not decided on what size ring i want to run.
@Tester, I'm not sure Ideally i would get a clincher track disc, but might settle for some Raltech wheel covers.
@jambon yeah its definitely intense to ride! I rode it for the first time last night for Hacksaws Challenge (race from Bristol to Bath and back.) ended up crashing it off of a mini roundabout right before the finish!

Get my bright orange Principia RSL back from Vaidas on Monday.
Had the frame sitting around for about a year. Looking forward to finally riding it. -

ok, guys I need advice. So a friend is selling his Commencal Uptown 29(wih gears) due injury for 215 pounds(I think it's a real deal) I would go for it, but what mudguards would it take because on the fork mudguard fixing point is half the way up on leg?

Any full fender should work, just bend the stay.

That's an pretty nice frameset. Is the fork Argos? It looks fast and fun with that rear wheel.
