  • Few new additions here still have to rattlecan the front wheel

  • This is nearly done now. I need to sort out the rear wheel situation, and get a nicer chainring, but that's about it!

Really like that, simple and pretty intense to ride I imagine.Love the simplistic cockpit too. Any more pics?

  • Which cogs are OK for vintage campag track hubs?

So far I have tried EAI and Phil - the difference being that the EAI is about 0.5mm wider than the Phil, meaning I get less lockring threads...

I guess I need a 19t Phil - anyone selling a used one? Or any recommendations on narrower cogs that will allow me to have 'access' to more lockring threads?

  • This is pretty much done now, although I think I'll need a shorter stem to allay my back problems/secure my entrance into the T-Rex Brotherhood...

  • Looks good, maybe compact drops would solve your back problem but still allow a decent length stem?

  • This is nearly done now. I need to sort out the rear wheel situation, and get a nicer chainring, but that's about it!

I really like that chainring, what is it/where did you get it from?

  • Token do some like that .. decent and cheap, the logos can be rubbed off afaik, but I just rattlecanned mine: http://www.pedalroom.com/p/dodici-gara-6168_37.jpg

  • The bars are pretty shallow already, but it's worth keeping in mind, good point. Will buy a cheap stem from ebay or something and if that doesn't fix it might have to go for something super compact.

  • @boredom its a one23 chainring, cheapest i could find as i needed to finish the build but am not decided on what size ring i want to run.

@Tester, I'm not sure Ideally i would get a clincher track disc, but might settle for some Raltech wheel covers.

@jambon yeah its definitely intense to ride! I rode it for the first time last night for Hacksaws Challenge (race from Bristol to Bath and back.) ended up crashing it off of a mini roundabout right before the finish!

  • and still won

  • one23

Surprised I failed to spot that, considering that I have one on the lo pro at the moment.

    @boredom:
Do you want it? 48T×⅛"×144mm PCD, used for one 10 mile TT, I have other plans for the MG event next year so I'm going to put the 49T back on.

  • Get my bright orange Principia RSL back from Vaidas on Monday.
Had the frame sitting around for about a year. Looking forward to finally riding it.

  • No, I have 48s for days, looking for different sizes, thanks though!

  • ok, guys I need advice. So a friend is selling his Commencal Uptown 29(wih gears) due injury for 215 pounds(I think it's a real deal) I would go for it, but what mudguards would it take because on the fork mudguard fixing point is half the way up on leg?

  • Any full fender should work, just bend the stay.

  • Oooft, details?

  • This is nearly done now.

That's an pretty nice frameset. Is the fork Argos? It looks fast and fun with that rear wheel.

  • Gaston im having those cranks if you ever sell them*

    *Price depending obviously ;-)

  • I have all the full Zeus track group (except the stem and pedals) but I lost my headset damed!!! ... and sorry I keep it

    The bike is finiched yet
I make pictures tomorrow (if the weather is nice)

  • I have been fixing up a tiny 50cm 1990 Raleigh Team Banana this weekend.

    Started here:

    After a clean:

    To finish like this:

  • Hi this is my actually Italian classic stable (in progress).

  • That's an pretty nice frameset. Is the fork Argos? It looks fast and fun with that rear wheel.

    whole thing is Argos
