black hubs and spokes with gunmetal rims does look good but when some components are black too
This. Had grey X517 CDs on my old 'dale and they suited black spokes and nipples because most other parts were black. Hubs were originally matching ano grey (Shimano LX) until they died and I had a fresh wheel rebuilt on a black Hope hub.
When I see older road bikes with Campag Hardox / Mavic CD rims though, silver/silver/silver looks fantastic to me.
You'd be mad to spray grey TB14s black. They're way too nice. -

sold this bike after painting it, i actually used with road forks as beater.
(kept restraps)
Bought this from a friend for half of what i got for that fgfs.
Putted on raceblades and carbon road fork I had lying around. Real happy with it, probably will go for Raceblades long for dry legs. -

I doesn't have a brand, it's resold locally by one hipster bicycle shop, but I have seen some FS just like this dirt cheap on ebay from Poland.

Photographer stopped me by Bricklane and asked me if he could do few shots of me and my bike. This one is my favorite:

These tyres on those rims? tempting, can't decide if it would look a bit odd and not suite my bike.

full 9 speed groupset with 10 speed chainrings shouldn't cause any problems right? any rattling what with them being narrower?

They aren't narrower, it's just the chain plates which are thinner between 10s and 9s

Viner pub/cafe bike back on the road thanks to the very patient noname (I faffed over the new front wheel).
Bought some near NOS Gipiemme special pista hubs which I'm going to lace up for spring/summer, something to look forward to.
Thanks again noname!

^^ah cool :)
which was your approved 9s chain? the Wipperman 9s1/E/X?
-
• #85096
Wippermann or KMC. I favour the former, but really that's habit rather than anything else.

I'm keeping that until spring... this is it in ugly mode, I plan on cutting the steerer and then getting the whole thing powder coated and decalled along with the final parts of the Gipiemme group set...
ok
