Lovely! You could also use a medium or short derailure cage, no?

Looking forward to some more pics of this.
Oh, OK.
Took it out to bed the brakes in. Bit wet though. Ah well think I laid down some pad to the rotors. Brakes felt good.
Chain didn't fall off...
...because this was doing its job nicely.
Me gusta.

Building this Olmo up at the mo, I was lucky to get this off drminky last week. The plan is to use a Nexus 7 speed coaster hub for a usable town/beater bike.
Excuse poor pic but this is what i have so far. i still don't know what bars i want to use. Anyone have any silver/chrome 25.4 bars they don't want? -

Bought this Pinarello SL frame off a forumenger a while back which came exactly like this;
I've put a cheap seatpost/saddle on, spd pedals, changed the chain to a silver one and recently changed the bars to nitto bull horns. Now looks like this;
Never had bull horns before so not sure what angle they should be at? Ridden with them a couple of times and they seem comfy like this but would look better flat (parallel) mebe?

well yes, parallel not only looks best, but should be most comfortable. I found a tt lever on the end of the bars is a much more suitable place for a brake lever with this setup (and also looks better)
also, what is that ridiculous bmx gear ratio? -

The cranks are some flavour of campag with a 135mm bcd and I cant seem to find any decent chanrings at that size. Saving up for a nice new cranks set. Currently a 39 on front and 16 on back. I'm pedaling like a beaver.
Any suggestions for a decent tt break lever?

Pinarello has now been converted back into gears, but has also been adapted more extensively to allow riding longer distances on gravel and in mixed weather:
Cranks are still DA7700s, now with 53/39 SRAM chainrings, shifted by Ultegra front der. (for now). Rear wheel is a NOS Mavic GP-4 CD rim laced to a WI Aft-tracker hub with ultegra 9sp cassette (hill-friendly 11-21 gearing) shifted by DA7700 rear der., made to match front WI ti-hub to CX18 CD rim. DT shifters are also 7700, handlebars have been lifted a little with a Nitto Tech.Delux stem. Other notable additions: Nitto M18 front rack with DIY Lowepro (made in Ireland)(camera-) front bag, Zefal HPX frame pump, Zefal fenders for shitty weather (which are surprisingly good), big fat TUFO tub up front and slightly less fat (and controversially green) Vittoria Pave CG tub at the rear.
