Cable routing help needed please.
If I don't have anything here to guide the cable out from the braze on straight then it naturally pulls the inner over a corner which doesn't look great and will stress it out. The nipple jobs that I've used elsewhere on the bike don't fit into this smaller hole so I've sharpened a valve cap for now, my question is what do most people use here. Thanks.

There is a special cable end for that. Its still included in campy cable sets. On modern frames they are mot needed so must be a million of them around. I have more than a few you could have but im to remote. Some1 closer will offer im sure

Got to be the older DP18's with the matching stickers, they're awesome on that.
^ This. Tychom you have the 'champagne' or grey coated type DP18? Either will look pretty incredible and they are an interesting vintage part (with fruity stickers).
The pink tyres will be too much IMHO. Amazing frame BTW.

If you can't find the right size stepped ferrule (I have loads in the parts bin, all different sizes), just zip tie the cable to the chainstay an inch or two aft of the stop to hold it in line, then it will form a gentle curve from there thanks to the stiffness of the housing.

We've just had our tandem out on her maiden voyage/test ride...people had suggested it would be fun but we genuinely didn't stop gurning with glee! Peoples faces add to the enjoyment.
Still awaiting gear cable for the front derailleur and yes, slack sync chain - haven't managed to free off the eccentric BB bolts.and this is how riding a tandem makes you feel...

Mine aren't the really dark anodised version (those similar in colour to say a Mavic CD rim), sadly, because those would be a dream. The ones I've got are similar to the standard silver/mirror finish versions only a little darker, a little like the anodising on 3t stems/bars (at least those of them that have faded).
Anyway pretty amazing colour match. Did the guy enter the shop and ask for a frame to match his DP18s? guess we'll never know.

Last thing for the day. Stuck a B123 on ..
Gonna put it away for a while now though as I'm enjoying the Mecacycle and now the Gautheron too, so not sure where this one fits in. If it stays it's gonna have some low profile dark anodised rims (Wolber GTX2) to last gen Maillard 700 Professional hubs (the silk screened ones), and some cloth tape on the drops (red or black?). Also pedals, again.

dude whats up with those bars on the gautheron? is everything straight there?
never seen anything like this whilst still geting the fork blades and rear triangle in line -

Just lazy photos, I wanted to go ride :/
Bike was tipping back, I was down too low. Hence weird perspective.
[edit] even that doesn't really show the lean clearly.

slack sync chain - haven't managed to free off the eccentric BB bolts.
stick a spare big chain ring in there until you sort it out. Like the below crap picture but you should only need one ring

Very nicely done, are they Zipp bars too? That's going to be porn worthy.
-
• #81896
Yeah they're Zipp bars, will go for a 0 setback Zipp post so I think it'll be a nice bike but not Porn worthy (on this forum :P)

Kind of tired of the stealthy look. Any tips about what could liven this frame up? Thinking a super hi-hiz paintjob. Different forks maybe?

Photograph it in colour?

Pursuit bulls.
thanks, the photo doesn't show it well but the bottom section of the handlebar runs parallel with the horizontal top tube, will try it tipped back further.
