These guys get hope in 18h sometimes.

I just bought a pair of carbon rims that I plan to lace hopes to. 28 spokes and still should be a 1400g pair. -

btw - where did you get the shamal decals on the Bazou?
They are original it's the drilling 30H on the rear wheel, the front hub DA on the front one and the (') who are not.
Thanks guys !
The salmon neads the Gramo indeed.

Bought some Zipp 303 tub rims. I can't decide whether to build them for road or track. 18h front, 24h rear. I would like hub suggestions for either use.
Whichever one you'd use more I guess. Track should last longer if you don't crash.
There are loads of road hubs in that size so pick whichever are in your budget and are suitable for your weight. Hope are a nice balance of price / weight / quality / branding. Or CK would be the bling choice. If it's just about them working then Novatec.
For track +1 for Royce.

playing around with bars:
going to change it back soon though. the green one is nice with drops, but the crosseur get's a bit boring with the moustache. -
• #81416
daft/late question but what is that green frame?
-
• #81417
rawland drakkar. google it. I've never heard of it before.
-
• #81418
where/how did you source it?
-
• #81419
back room of my local mtbgeekerybike shop.

• #81420
amazing stuff! Great frame
-
• #81421
it is, yeah.
I had bought the kona in the same shop so when it was stolen I went down there with the insurance money and asked what they could do that was similar. owner goes "come here, I've got something just waiting for you". It basically does all the stuff that I wanted the kona to do. rack, drops, mudguards etc. -
• #81422
that is so good! Personally this is better than kona, how does it ride in comparison?
-
• #81423
it feels very similar. I think the big ass tyres cancel out any perceivable difference really. slightly lower bb is a great plus for city riding with a kid though.
