Sweet, how many teeth is that up front? 44? Also whats your gear ratio?
42:14 at the moment. Seems perfect for where I'm riding at the moment but I'm moving to Bournemouth tomorrow so I'll probably change to a higher gear on one side for longer rides with that part of Dorset being ridiculously flat and a lower gear on the other to spin my way around town.

Yep! Won't be riding much around town for a little bit, living in Lansdowne for a couple of weeks and working at Coriander in the square so probably quicker to walk by the time I've carried the bike down 3 flights of stairs and locked it up. Moving to Charminster soon though. What are you riding? I'll keep an eye out for you!

;-)
What's funny is that I wrote a book: "Generation transition".if you want I can send you the pdf if you give me your adress by PM.
Thank you guys.
Is it a book with a happy ending? If yes, I'm interested.

^^ would look a lot nicer with matching saddle and bar tape and black tyres I reckon! Nice idea to cover a pub bike in beer labels though!

How wide are those tires? Was wondering if the scr3 has enough room for 28c's. Thanks.

I would put the other pics in the gazelle topic.

• #80241
Neat.
Is that a lead seal under the top tube?
-
• #80242
thanks
it is a lead seal.... not sure about the Mawic seatpost...
The pictures are not too big ?
-
• #80243
Pictures seem OK to me.
The Maouic seatpost is quite unexpected on this Gazelle but it doesn't look bad, what else do you have? By the way, is it period correct?
I am intrigued by that lead seal... What is the explanation?

-
• #80247

-
• #80248
Since when they don't?
-
• #80249

Don't listen to the erection, baskets are cool :)
I was sifting through the parts bin the workshop and found some stuff to add to my brooklyn because I was bored.
Yup the grips are green and the seatpost is silver, but I don't care because free parts <3
