to be honest that saddle to bar drop isn't that big, maybe you're too stretched out trying a shorter stem and bigger risers may help the problem
Well yeah, that´s a fact, you´re right. But my other bike has the stem almost reaching the same line as the saddle (bit stupid but I find it comfy)... I reckon it´s the sudden change of position that might´ve seem odd to me. This is the shortest stem I sould ever ride on this bike (90mm).. I´m 6"1. The frame is 55x55... cannot take 700c forks because of the angle of the HT. Just changed this morning the arrospok for the matching H+Son rear, with a gatorskin. I doubt there´s bikes out there that can challenge this one in weight!! IT´S SOOOOOOOO LIGHT!

Your wheels weigh more than some bikes :)

This is exactly what you said. I simply responded as I saw fit [I am a cunt though]. -

dunno, i don´t have any scales, but I would say around 10kg.

if your saddle is that low........the frame is too big for you.
Its only that low as i had only just taken it out of the car(need seat all the way down so it fits in) but i am just over 6ft so i now have it about 3-4" of post showing.

So you are a shower rather than a grower?

We're talking sooo heavy then? My track bike (steel columbus neuron) is just under 7kg, and my crappy pista for the road, with heavy bits is still less than 10kg.

I was joshing. At 9kg it's on the heavier side for a SS. So if yours is light then it's probably gonna be quite a bit lighter than 9kg.

If you want it less nickable paint it a boring colour as chavs like bright bikes as they think that makes them good or a nice surpsension bike so give it a tatty paint job like matt black or a mixed colour look and don't clean it.

love bikes that look ridden

I think it´s pretty obvious why it wouldn´t work with 700c forks. -
