So the meticulous Benotto 3000 build is coming to a close. I've used repro hoods and Nuovo rather than Super Record shifters, and if you look closely it's Cicolinea rather than Benotto tape, but otherwise it's pretty faithful to the original.
Good job
Still disappointed you didn't fix it.

Could get some fake fundas for now, re-sale on them will be fine and they will look good in the meantime...

Korean track frames are too fucking rad. Are there any others amongst the forumers other than Pops' Gayas and my Interpro?
Another Interpro rider here. Although now track spec it mostly sits on the turbo sadly.
Your pedals were posted on Tuesday BTW.

^^ Ah, that's yours! Lovely. Any pics of it with track spec?
(Thanks for the pedals btw, I've been informed a package arrived for me this morning.)

Curiously when I posted the photo last night I had originally typed "is that a Galli rear mech?" but deleted it just in case it was SR and I'd offend! and also because it would be a painfully nerdy thing to do...
I had a real bike nerd moment when I realised that the Galli rear derailleur I was using was in fact a 1st Gen super record copy, and as such was more appropriate than either the standard super record thing or a nuovo record one

Just noticed you're not using the ti saddle anymore... Any reason?
-
• #79563
Just an experiment, I was trying to understand, why the saddle top measured (with tape measure) around 2cm (from BB, both on 165mm cranks) higher on the Bumblebee than the Donobru, but felt very similar (in terms of leg extension, pedalling motion...).... It's an ongoing investigation but will be putting that saddle back on I expect.

Brian has a steeper seat tube?

When we start talking angles, my mind boggles.
Condor measures same as Bryan too....

Bumblebee saddle doesn't look to have been malayzian'd to the same degree either.
-
• #79567
Well, not really ridden it with that saddle, but anyway, higher front end means more upright position - more weight back etc...

You have different pedals on both bike and different contact point with the strap.
See what happen if you swap them round.

It's because the bumblebee is too big for you and you should sell it to me.

He should have sold it to me.

not, pedal "reach" are almost identical.

He should have sold it to me.
I would consider swaps for an equally awesome 62cm ST steel track frame, in un-indra'd condition.

The reach can be affected by the pedals, says the bumble's clip set your feet a little further forward than the latter.

Finished my beater/pub/skid bike today :)
Well, nearly. Still need to change the pedals for the obligatory Restraps and tape the bars.
Edit: maybe an inline seat post

Looking good Mark.
^Cheers.
Have a full Dura Ace 25th Group to build it with, so should be beautiful, and will be finished before the Gios, for sure!
