First in the what?

Don't know if I should, but I have a guilty liking for them cranks and they work well on the Condor.
Needs to lose a spacer or two, but a very nice build. ;P
Yeah I keep thinking of replacing them with something but they look alright really and ride well enough!
definitely going to cut the fork down and lose the 10mm spacer on top the stem. I'm not sure what I think about the pink ones... they are growing on me! -

Managed to fluke the spacing with what I had.
Project Hed disc track conversion is almost complete, just need to go and get a new tub fitted. Weirdly, two sprockets wouldn't fit on the adapter. An 18t Surly and a 19t Condor wouldn't engage, and tried to eat the threads, but unbranded 15t and 16t cogs went on fine. Which is alright as that's what I'll be running, but a bit odd. Can anyone offer an explanation?

The 29gnarr is finished! And based on today's ride, I'm a big wheel convert.

New tyres for the Mielec, soon to be clipless and a new saddle might be on the cards.

haha sorry pooface. I got it for 280 and picked it up that night. I really wanted it too! ;-)
The toe overlap for that looks horrendous! You find it ok?
-
• #79364
Toe overlap is rarely a problem on roads I've found, however I recently broke myself due to to overlap off road.
-
• #79365
it caught me out once, turning tight in traffic, but only because i hadnt actually checked to see if it was problem. Once your going at any kind of speed toe overlap becomes a bit irrelevant because you never need to turn that hard.
That rigid 29er looks like a lot of fun!

• #79366
Doesn't look bad at all to me tbh
-
• #79367
29r looks great Umo. What frame is it? And is it an optical illusion of does it have some kind of dink/really long gusset on the tt? Just looks a bit funny in that pic.
-

2006 Gary Fisher Rig. Yeah, it's got a strange arrangement at the head tube, the DT is welded to the TT and then a gusset joins that to the HT. Results in a very short headtube.

Mine has foot overlap rather than toe.
Not an issue though once you're used to it.

I actually meant on the top of the tt, almost inline with the etching on the train window. Looks cool though!

^ Always this, only an issue if you insist on riding as fast as you walk.

• #79372
Might be pulling the trigger on this Mazza.
-
• #79373
Fire it my way. You have enough nice bikes.
