I've been riding the first wheel I built every day for about three years and it's never gone out of true. :)

The important bits are to get the spoke tension even - and high enough - and to eliminate spoke twist by stress relieving the spokes as you raise the tension.

I did the rear first, seemed to go a lot smoother when i built the front.

I'm pondering building a single speed winter-bike/light off-roader, something that will take 2" tyres (probably 26" as I'm a short-arse).

Does anyone have any frame suggestions, the On-one Inbred was the first that looked to fit the criteria but I don't really know much around this kind of area. Cheers

this is special Thrust, let me know when you will get around to make some detailed photos of the build cos I will be more than happy to spread them, so different from all the typical campagnolo'ed classic builds, not to mention determination in getting this sorted.

Nah the celestial is staying but the top tube has the part that's been repaired which will be pointed! Only the top tube though!

Undecided on wether to swap for black 75's/omniums or not.

Bars need cutting down, too wide, and brake cable/crosstop lever needed
