That looks brutal, love it.

^^ yeah, I think I need a seatpost with slightly more setback.
New Romin is nice btw - it has a little more dip in the nose than the old one, which is great.

Dan, I have a Palladio set back post, if it's 31.6?
I'll be getting an in-line one this week hopefully.

Is that the Romin Evo?
Been eyeing one of them, nice saddles.
The BMC is lush and does indeed look seriously fast, quite (very) jelly.
But have you got orangutan arms or something?!
And your bars urk me for some reason... ;P
Edit: ^ Get the Palladio, so it will match stem!

Does anyone remember which forum member had a sick Dolan SSCX and then got a cheap crabon naked Dirty Disco?

Cheers Tenderloin, I thought he had a cheapo dirty disco, I'm thinking of getting one and wanted to ask how it was holding up... bugger.

Has anyone used these? Look decent, and cheap, but I don't want them to join my midge bars in the 'pile' in the shed.

Is it crabbon? How much setback does it have? May be interested in that.

Thanks.
The bars are the specialized carbon ones that came with my s-works - the ergo bend is a bit marmite but I really like the shape of them.
Oh, and no, I don't have long arms - and the fit is more or less the same on all my bikes. I actually have longer legs but I am happier being long with hips rotated forward.

That dirty disco-alike on the last page is so rad.

Tester? They look like cheap generic Chinese wheels, apart from not being cheap. Have a look in the Orient Express thread to see what other people have experienced with the 500 or so different ebay and alibaba sellers who do similar wheels for around $500 (=£500 with shipping and taxes)

Seem like an excellent shape and idea too.
I have nitto promenades on my bike but worry a lot because the tubing is so narrow and there ia huge amount of leverage working against the bar (and small clamping area) due to the shape.
Those on-one bars are oversized in the right places.
The shape of these kinda moustache bars feels very "right" and natural, especially on bikes with slack angles.

I've never had a chance to try ergo bars, so can't really be complaining.
If you don't mind me asking, what's purpose of a lower, but more behind the BB, saddle position?
I've been playing with my set up, and just adjusted mine a touch further back, ain't really had a chance to test it yet though, but always willing to learn.

I have long femurs (according to Scherrit), so need the extra room- especially with a steep-ish seat tube. The exception is my track bike which has an inline seatpost and is set up to ride in the drops all the time with hips tipped further forward and more weight in my hands.

As far as I'm aware the distance from the bb to the saddle rails is the important measurement - you can achieve that by a combination of moving the saddle up or back. I have to choose more back than up as it gives me more room for the longer bones at the top of my legs, and takes pressure off my knees

Sorted this out over the weekend, p65 mudguards arriving today then a rack/saddle bag and we're done. Was looking into single chainrings for the original cranks and it turns out they (shimano fc mc12) were recalled in 1997. I contacted Madison to see whether Shimano would still action a 16 year old recall, turns out they will so a new Alivio chainset is on its way which I'm quite chuffed about. I'm missing having SPDs when commuting but I can afford to replace my vans yearly.
