  • Man my fingers hurt, all decals removed from one side.

  • Cinelli crit's???
If so, the shape works nicely

    (no comment on the saddle/seatpost!!!!)

    Yep, guessed right.

Probably get a Nitto seat post and a Flite, or maybe an inline Thompson. Nitto stem to of course.

  • Man my fingers hurt, all decals removed from one side.

Use a old credit card or something, or some sort of plastic to scrape it off?

  • Dibs on the c-record bits! ;-)

I have some cranks I'm tempted to part with...

  • Temporary-ish build.

    :D

Much lighter and stiffer than my Gitane, fits me better to, not sure what to do with it now, sorry Rogan :(

this flouro looks so fluoro it looks shopped

    Hairdryer is your friend.

  • polish that seatpost!

  • TM - the decals are under the lacquer, don't think a hair dryer will help?

  • polish that seatpost!

    Racist

  • this flouro looks so fluoro it looks shopped

    It's like that IRL

  • this flouro looks so fluoro it looks shopped

Got to admit, i put the saturation up by like 10%, but now it looks more like the real colour, it really is that flouro!

  • TM - the decals are under the lacquer, don't think a hair dryer will help?

Out of interest how are you getting them off? Flaking the lacquer off then peeling them off?

Looks really nice now although i recon it deserves some kind of decals. Maybe get your name/nickname made up in the same style as those pinarelo ones were?

  • I have some cranks I'm tempted to part with...

    Pics and price over pm?

  • Yes flaking the laquer off with an exacto knife then using a card to scrape the decals. Pretty tedious work

I know what you mean I reckon it would look better with some sort of
Name on it, just wish I could find out who made it and get decals to suit...

  • identifying a frame itself can be very rewarding.
have you checked the steerer for stamps?

  • No not yet, there is a serial number under the BB that ill check tonight,

May just get some "Create" stickers for it, just to confuse people

  • TM - the decals are under the lacquer, don't think a hair dryer will help?

Yes, I removed these fuckers this afternoon... (they were under lacquer, albeit not very thick)

Not sure if the heat softens the lacquer a little, but makes removing the actual vinyl infinitely easier, get them to the right heat and they'll peel off in one rather than having to pick away at them destroying your fingers...

  • Just tried this and can't believe how easy they come off.

I'm an idiot for not trying it already, I just thought that because they were under the lacquer it would make no difference.

I owe you one, have some rep and a virtual high-five

  • get them to the right heat and they'll peel off in one rather than having to pick away at them destroying your fingers...

    HTFingersU.

  • HTFingersU.

Decal inflicted cuts under your nails are the worst!

  • Fist shape bears resemblance to Regents Park shape. This needs to be integrated into Hour of Power poster. 'Bear Knuckle ride' or 'fist full of pain' I reckon.

  • I bet you £50 that DJ will be unable to resist making a reference to a sexual practice after reading your post.

  • Bob as he currently stands. dunno if i should get a front rack for the summer????

    Looks amazing

get a wald 137 in black, it'd save you carrying a bag in the summer and getting sweaty back
