^ I was led to believe that the Nitto stems have got enough meat that it's not dangerous to clamp a 25.4 in their 26.0 jaws... anecdotally this is OK.
In my case however, I screwed the pinch bolt in as tight as I could but it still didn't grip the bars properly (*particularly when I was doing one of my epic sprints)

I already own some you see, they do have less drop but still look like track drops, really like them, some Nitto drops would be to deep for a short guy unless i put the stem up higher.

There's a certain issue around NJS that's stronger than most other builds - you can put risers, a concor, clinchers or ATACs on an NJS build but that's about as far as you can stray without really making a statement, whereas we're all pretty relaxed when someone puts brifters on a classic steel frame...

I 100% finished these wheels, replaced the chain I killed riding in the snow (for an actual NJS one), and tbh I don't intend to put the drops back on except maybe for photos so I guess this is really done, there's nothing else I want to change.
