Tell me about it! I'll wrap over the logos with bartape anyways, for vanities sake. And they'll only be used for when I'm playing about.

is this stuf for that black lo-pro there was a drawing of?Profile airwings I think they're called. And yes it's for the black lo-pro.
Well it's actually going to be black with a glitter clear-coat :)

nice.
that drawing reminded me a bit of my new bike.. apart from the funky seat stays.
good job i didn't get mine in black!i'm not a fan of the profile airwings though, i had the niito pursuit bars for a while, but they killed my wrists.
ened up chopping and flopping some drops for my perfect bullhorns. -

nice. i really like paul componants, alough im not sure on the cranks. they look very nice, but i think id rather get DA as im not keen on the proprietary chain rings. im going to use paul brakes+levers, hubs, and dropouts on my next build.
if they ever release a crank with non proprietary rings ill be buying one up as soon as i have the moolah.
-
• #7713
yeah... i wanted the paul cranks, but didn't like the chainring too.
went for powder coated Miche in the end. -

It was suggested they'd make a bolt on spider adapter for these cranks to take normal rings. Never seen anything though...

i've used chops and flops, airwings and other bulls. IMHO Syntace Stratos are the best, they ahve a little backsweep on the flat section which makes holding the tops comfortable and you can get them in various different drops.

Necessity? Did something happen to the Pista? Nice to see a step-through conversion; they seem to have been ostracized of late. Very pretty bike.
handlebars now a little shorter!
JOL I know that I bought your boss's bike which is very similar but I gave it to my wee mum. She loves it.
happy days. By the way I don't spend all my time casually building bikes, this was a necessity build...

Looks cool as usual!
How comfy are those bars? Started seeing them around but didn't think they'd be practical on fixed. Looked good for cruising and/or coaster brake like ed's gf's bike.

• #7721
ditch the stem, get a pearl on there.......:)
-
• #7722
yeh too many conflicting angles up front imo, but lovely otherwise.
-
• #7723
nah, my pearl feels too high with these bars. it looks funny in elevation but not from other angles, i assure you. the bars have been a revelation. i usually ride with my hands near the middle as usual but the full upright outside position is a lot of fun for croozin' round the place..

just built myself up this today from parts kicking around in my garage, from parts that my dad left me.
:)
thinking a smaller cog on the back though, 16 instead of a 20.
just need to tape the bars as well now -

This has been a right pain to strip everything was really stuck tight still can't get the front brake out I may have to replace the forks,I may go for a carbon blade or a chrome to keep it retro.
Going to paint shop tomorrow here are some of the parts I have collected so far, going to hit it with some dura ace.Wheels are Bianchi from my modern bike
Nope, buying it from Krisz and picking it up this weekend all going according to plan!!
Fancy buying a frame from this guy for myself in a while though, maybe get a custom Ocean!
