Thanks. Any idea what speed hubs / size wheels this will need? 5,6,7,8 / 27" or 700c? Shimano 600 rear mech.

700c as it's French, 7 speed? What's the spacing?

Couple of tweaks. Still haven't swapped the rear mech. Not sure about the Elite cages. They look a bit... tacky. And they seem to require a bit of a shove to get the bottle to engage. Think I preferred the cheap Bontrager ones I had on before.

Think you need the gold ones.
On a serious note though, it's looking good - white tape/saddle work really nice!

Really happy with this setup now. Just need a sharper saw to cut the steerer down a bit more for slamdatstem⢠kudos points.

Ewwwwwwww.
But yeah, I think white tape is mandatory, and the white saddle helps.

Dahon Folder - 7.6kg
Is this Mu Uno? Is fixie?
How did you manage to drop the 2kg?
Ditched integrated pump seatpost, saddle and coaster brake? Added read caliper?

Cheers SF. Yeah, appears something is up there too...
Can I rebuild the rear wheel on one of these with an Eno?
Edit: internets says normal fixed hub. Hmmm...

Regal - 1000AA mentioned getting some crud cages ordered. Could do the job?

Crud cages? Got a link?
TBH it probably needs Elite Ciussi or similar to be period.
Would prefer something black though.
Edit: ah, there is a black version that isn't the horrible modern one.
Could work I suppose, although I hate the logo on it.

Dropouts measure 125mm on the inside edges (135mm to outside edges), with a Shimano 600 RD-6208 rear mech.

I would guess 7 speed, but I'd seek a 2nd opinion.
-
• #76949
Sweet. Checked Google and looks like it was meant for 6, but can apparently handle 7 and 8 too. Now to find some wheels...

Colnago deserves the Inox version. Logos are mere stickers, easy to remove.
Nice! My road bike is 653, lovely ride.
