beware though, it's a bit wider than normal, OLN wise, had to remove the washers between the locknuts and cones, even then it's a squeeze, steel forks are a must

1st post and all that, so hello.
used to see the boys on fixed gears down at Brixton skate park, probably 6 years back. Living in Nuremberg, Germany now. after checking FG gallery every morning for the last 2 years, seeing the whole world go fixed and reading you guys bittering on here ...
the time has come:
I'm mid build... As you can see I was kinda aiming for the white white white look. Yes, its this season's new black. It's a Krabo frame - Krautscheid - traditional bike manufacturer based out of Bochum, Germany. But its not so white white and I'm not 100% sure about the frame anyway.
So the question is:
Shall I strip it and get it powdercoated white?
Shall I sell it, stop messin with the conversion and get a track frame?
Put the Krabo aside - and convert my green peugeot road frame?
Buy this new - old stock Eddy frame from this shop near me, even though I know puppies will indeed die?Or stop wasting time, get a crankset and start pedalling?

I like that, stick with it and keep the original paint job

I like it too, so would vote for the "stop-being-a-tart-and-build-it-and-ride-it" option.

stevo
You mean it's actually more than 100mm OLN, or that your forks were that old school width (96mm or whatever it is)?I just realised my new 70s phil road front doesn't really fit my forks. Oh well, I'll spring em and fugeddaboudit. erk.
