I agree on the durability aspect- however you cannot powdercoat carbon fibre, hence my query.
I'm thinking fork:
Frame:
I love that color combo on the car. Ive yet to c it look good on a bike tho. Even the baum comes up abit short imo. Hope you can pull it off with a great scheme.

Yeah, it might look rubbish, but I thought I'd try it as I too love the cars.
I think the simpler it is, the higher chance of looking good it has- that Baum is a bit busy, for example.
I'm hoping that frame one colour/fork the other would be ok, but who knows.

Yeah i agree, less is more in this case. Orange as accent color can put it over the top quite easily. Reversed i find orange as base color usually works great. But perhaps not with blue. Looking forward to c it regardless.

I put a new chain and a used chainring on my Mielec and it's ridiculously noisy! I read that sometimes it can take a while for the two to wear in together or something like that, how long does that usually take? Been riding it for about 2 weeks but I haven't done any serious mileage, probably less than 75.

I had a new chain and ring on mine and it's still pretty noisy but that's more down to my chainline being off

Got the Condor out for the first time this year for a sunny and hilly 38 miles, forgot how great this rides. Just beautiful (:
Got a gloss black touch up pen as well, going to attend to the battle scars on the seat stays....

A few current projects, some more recent than others.
Just finish off my Enigma.
http://www.lfgss.com/thread101565.htmlI never got around to properly photographing my Borghini commuter in its current guise. So here it is.
And the Rebecca's Farleigh (Bob Farley). New-ish powdercoat by Armourtex.

Haha. Yeah. They are 150 cranks and there is still about An inch overlap. She seems fine with it tho. Has been riding it this way for about 3 years. Just a few minor changes and fresh paint.

Woah, the Enigma looks great wharry! As does the rest of the stable, very classy stuff. What's the pink/neon/white frame and the bike hanging next to it?

Those are some pretty bikes. The Enigma has come out really nice, those Red rings don't look out of place.
