  • Oddly, or not oddly, the rear mudguard fits a treat.

  • Strong, black tape msw?

no the cosmic is just pinched off the road bike until the front wheel is built

  • ^^^ File will do as well, just make sure all edges are rounded and not in contact with the forks.

  • Back-up plan, should the Six13 be a no-goer. A rather strange CAAD7 Saeco. Strange because it's an Optimo frame but doesn't have a BB30 bottom bracket.

Shame Ultra fork could be used as a boat anchor; the 7 was one of the lighter CAAD frames.

are you planning to put some normal bars on it as well?

  • Deciding whether or not to go for Cinelli Mike Giant bar tape for my Omnium. I know it will earn me hipster points, I just want it to be better than Cinelli cork tape.

  • Also, has anyone out north or east way got one of those pin spanner things to remove SG75 bb's? I need to get a 111mm ISO taper to sort my chainline out properly (finally). Probably gonna replace it with a Centaur.

  • My question concerns a current project so I thought here might be good to ask.
Can I use STI shifters with a Shimano Exage 500/biopace chainset?

  • rob I do

  • Nice one Marcin. Do you reckon I can pop over to yours tomorrow and pick it up?

  • no, as I am not in London yet - but you could on monday:)

  • Sure thing. I'll drop you a text then mate.

  • yeah boiiii,

    just needs tape and seatpost

The front rim is also really rather worn

Bars wrapped and final little wipe down of the alan, weights in at 7.7kg which is pretty good I think!

    !!!

  • Thinking about relacing on of my old zipp rear's to a track hub but it's 24hole but is there even any 24 rear's out there?

  • american classic

  • is there even any 24 rear's out there?

Novatec, On-One usually have them but out of stock at the moment. You can 24h rear Novatec from various Taiwan shops. This German shop has 24h rears in black or silver, house brand looks like KT Industries aka Quando/Quantum. If you want to bling it up, Phil or Royce do 24h track hubs

  • I used formula, not exactly bling but works perfectly.

Anyone want these before I throw them?

  • throw perfectly good cranks??

  • I'll take them, ta. PM ahoy.

The Novatec A166SB-BO track hub in black or silver with bolt fixings might be worth a go -

  • built up a brooklyn recently, the current project is that it needs a clean and chain tightening haha

  • Curb Hopper

meant In the most Affectionate sense of the Word.

  • Hardshell on the front, standard gator on the back?

    Looks fantastic anyway

  • Maybe tokyo fixed can be persuaded to import 24h pauls. Novatecs would probably do it but it feels a bit shameful on nice old carbon rims like these. If hope would do one, even better

If tenners doesn't need them I'll take them, have a beater to build up
