Oh dear!! Didn't take you long to get the stickers off!

Planned to build the IALP this evening. JIS / ISO taper and BB length fail stopped me at square one. Here is a mock up from the parts bin anyway.
The chainring and cog combo will be iterated to find a quasi-magic gear.
Also there is no clearance for a 25c rear tyre! The wheelbase on this is absurd. I love it. I think.

You can have them any colour you want, as long as it's black... Henry Ford, despite his nazi tendencies, were in many ways, way ahead of his time.
i bring it up because if i get the Brother reynolds track, it will be all black and silver, just wanted a bit of colour, so coloured straps seem like a good idea

I"m mocking up paint/vinyl on a new frame here. Has anyone tried to order custom cut vinyls? I'm thinking It's easier than painting it myself

Lovely relaxing angles on that. Any chance of a picture of what's going on around the bb (or is there one somewhere else on the forum)

^^ I've given this some thought in the past - The challenge with wraps (as opposed to lettering) occurs at joints/lugs etc. I suspect that base material and adhesive selection will be fairly critical here. It's clearly doable as there are plenty of examples about including full frame jobs
There's a thread on Singletrack forum that may be of some use.Another approach to consider might be water transfer printing

@Spaceman
What you can't see there is the rear derailleur cable routing inside the BB shell.

"...if i get the Brother reynolds track, it will be all black and silver. Ideally I want to stick to the über cool colour scheme, hence black straps seem like a good idea."
Couldn't agree more; a predominantly black bike can never be too black.

Nothing wrong with a bit of colour :) ...just a bit

a subdued bike with coloured parts or accessories will always look horrendous and cheap. if you want colour in your bike put some nice paint or decals on it.

blue or black straps on a silver and black bike, hardly like i'm sticking a pink aero spoke on it

It's your bike fucksake, do what you wantThe cycling Gods will never forgive you unless you go for black straps. -
• #73045
Just asking where i can get some...
-
• #73046
Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track of your initial question myself. But this being a black and silver build, possibly the most powerful colour scheme in the world, and would make all your friends insanely jealous, you've got to ask yourself one question… Do you really want to go for coloured straps? Well, do ya, punk?

"Just asking where i can get some..."
Most guys ask that question from time to time; it's perfectly natural.

Not sure, its just a thought
i have planned this build down to every part, i'm just trying to perfect the list i guess, still fussing over the gear ratio.

Is that an offer? ;)

If you're seriously avoiding black* - why not have cadence in grey?
Will look a whole load better than blue.
