I need to build up a new fixed gear after a car crushed mine, looking for an aluminium frameset that'll cost under or around the £400 mark.

Drop outs, selection of tubing, wait evem after having to wait for insurance money to be sorted, for a mielec I'd probably have to wait 2 months or so, it would be just another mielec too.
Still considering it though, just gotta look at it from all angles.

2 - 3 years ago, many people offered Challenge Grifo Open Tububars for EUR 28.- each.
Then, there was only the good, supple, foldable brown/black one.
Any idea who makes the best offers at the moment?
Looks like most companies doubled the price?
Now it's almost the end of the CX season, so I expect some shops to clear their winter stock.

I bought the same rims I already have (Araya VX400) except silver not black. Once I've got these on I just need Dura Ace 7600 crankset and it's done, I can't be bothered to order from Japan right now tho so unless anybody has some going it'll wait for a bit.

Probably going to keep the black rims and build a classy wheelset for another bike.

I'm just feeling something different, I've only ever owned steel and ridden 3 alu track frames and I just felt so damn powerful on them!

I only own aluminium frames now. I like how it isn't magnetic. Fucking magnets are a bitch holding you back on steel frames.

I like the black ones I just want it to look like full njs (without having to ride tubs) because I am a nerd. Also I don't like the radial so would have to rebuild anyway.

Just been dialing in my contacts. This week I need to go get my steerer cut and slam the stem on the Nanolight.

The modulation of the 3T seatpost is a dream!

Both bikes need a good old fashioned clean - now just need the other GT to get here, so I have an actual current project!
