-
• #72178
It was crushed under mounds of cash. Duh
-
• #72179
Sorry, too angry to type properly.
"after a car crushed mine" -
• #72180
Didn't you hit the car whilst filtering, carrying a frame on your back? I confused.
-
• #72181
Nah JB, that was another one, a car hit my bike while it was locked up.
-
• #72182
It has been a VERY shit 4 days.
-
• #72183
Sounds it...
-
• #72184
What blud!? Oh shit. That is bad. Sorry to hear that mayne.
-
• #72185
That's not even 1/2 of the shit that's happened as well, smashed phone screen, fell on helmet and split it in half, been sick, owe around £400 to a car driver and stopped by the fucking police for track standing on a line because a car was in the ASL -_- making me too late to do my exam.
Trying to turn my week around by planning a build and ODing on coffee. -

I need to build up a new fixed gear after mine cash crushed, looking for an aluminium frameset that'll cost under or around the £400 mark.
I'll need at least a 58 but probably a bit larger what are my options?

Or wait till On-one sell Pompino for £400.
If necessary, Dolan seemed to be the best buy as it included fork, headset, seatpost and seat clamp for the money.
-
• #72191
^Pomp? What? But yes you're right.
I'd go for a track champ or seta.
-
• #72192
Fuck I don't think the Seta F&F is at £400 anymore.
I'd probably destroy a carbon frame pretty quickly but at £400 I would have gone for it.
But Ed I don't think a pomp is right for me at the moment. -
• #72194
But they only do it in a 56, I think that's a bit small.
But it is compact right? -
• #72195
Wasn't there a large MASH in classifieds recently? Also, there is a Kagero on sale, but I think it's too small for you.
-
• #72196
In that case, buy me the 54cm and I'll send you some bicycles.

He said large but it was only a 55, my problem is I'm only around 6 foot but my inside leg length is 35 Inches.

Just got rid of a Langster, don't need another :P
Considering the 56 but I wonder how many times people will ask if I've considered a bike fit. -
• #72198
That Dave Marsh you had looked fucking huge and even that looked too small. What size was that?
-
• #72199
It was a Dave russell.
58x54.5 part of the reason it may have looked so big was the super thin tubing.
Lemme find a pic. -

Indra, If you end up buying a frame in a size you know for a fact won't fit you, I will hunt you down and beat you with a stick... ;-)
