Nice to see it finished Konga, it really is a lovely bike and those colours really compliment it well, nice and simple.
Did you spray it yourself?
Do you know the f+f weight?
Still want those forks! ;)

Not sure, just what I ended up with when I ordered a black one.
Did you have to pay extra to get it all black?

I assume these are the frame and fork weigh-in pix, before painting:

New project, old bike.
Needed a pub/shopper/cargo bike that wouldn't be nicked or stripped of parts when left outside so got this 1950s Pashley Postman's bicycle. It's my first singlespeed and frankly is sucks not being able to change up to a higher gear but it rides pretty well. Bearings are all still smooth but the headset needs tightening and for that I need to find/make an imperial headset spanner...
I fitted a new saddle, otherwise it's complete and original but I will fit new tyres as these ones are well past it.
I love the rack, very useful for stuff and even strong enough for passengers!Found an old wine box that will be perfect for cargo carrying.

Except that stem

Ugly as sin:
I'm a fan. Guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder... (maybe not the stem, I understand though it is function > form)
-
• #68966
I don't mind the stem at all, I think it fits.
Omniums with black Zen is the best bit though.

Having never had deep fiber, am I correct in thinking that most HHSB builds with the deeper rim up front is wrong and ^^ is right (deeper rim at back)?
-
• #68968
I'd think so. Generally you'll have much more weight going through the rear wheel, and all the driving force too, so you'll want stiffer than up front.
-
• #68969
Deeper front / shallower rear = more aerodynamic benefit (than vice versa).
Shallower front / deeper rear = less of a negative effect on handling from crosswinds (than vice versa).
In general, if you were actually racing/TTing and wanted maximum benefit, you'd have as deep as possible on the rear, and as deep as you can get away with in the conditions on the front. If you can only afford one seriously deep / plastic / spok wheel, you get more aero benefit from it being the front wheel.
If you're asking what HHSB correct form is, I don't have a clue.
