The lovely Digger fitted my new cranks today as I seem to have a skill of fucking up extraction threads when taking old cranks off.
I'll get some better slave style pics when the Jet Stream finally heads north over the weekend/next week/never.
The mudguard goes brilliantly with the rest of the bike actually, great styling!

I had a shit IceToolz extractor tool.
I heard buying and using shit ones is better cause then it will tear the shit tool apart before it tears the threads out of your crank, no idea how much wisdom there is in it.
after hearing it I bought Park so go figure.

Sounds like a solid urban legend to me, if after using a crank extractor correctly the threads still pull out like cheese take it as a sign of things to come and get a decent crankset!

Good point, that why you got yourself** another tarck bike**
a touring bike.oh...
Ftfy
Need to have a reshuffle still got a few "bit n bob" to fit in... Think I'm going to have to strap the tarp to the top of the saddle bag rather than inside. You get the idea anyway.
Took it for a quick spin, had really been worried about how the weight was going to affect the bike but it's really not that different down hills, and a bit sluggish up them.
Haha yes!
I'm imagining some no hands riding, reclining on the saddlebag catching some rays -

Roboto - It totally looks ace mate! Waiting for my Omniums Omnium cranks to turn up and I'll post a pic of mine. The good thing is, that its very different from yours, with compact drops and all in white. I like the fact that of the 3-4 (?) Omniums on here, everyone of them has taken a different take on their build! Its interesting to see what others do with theirs.
TM - Ready to roll then?! Really interested to see how it goes as might be doing some thing similar, but solo at some point. Wish you the best of luck dear sir, and hope you won't need it! Also a little bit jealous of that setup.

Wheels are at the LBS getting checked out since I bought them used. Threw my 123s and 110 Jaguar stem on to see if I like it. Should I go with 125s??? Also I've got some yellow Benotto Celo tape for the drops.

I need some white Benotto tape, elusive shit, I think I got more chance shaggin Nicole Scherzinger

Looking at it (only briefly) I suspect it may be out of alignment. I'll be getting the string out tomorrow and having a better look. Why didn't I just go for a Kaffenback?! Would of cost less (though, obv not 725).
Where did you get it from?
It really should have been packed properly so there was no damage to the stays.
It would be worth getting in touch with the seller and then having a proper LBS check and corrected it then pass the bill on.

With that tape, those drops will look great I think.
But, is it a comfortable drop that you'll use?
If not, there's your answer. -

Hah, I saw your wheels yesterday. Very nice! Then they all persuaded me to run tubs. Oh well.
I have 125s on a Jag now and it seems about right - the drops bottom out at about the top of the wheel, but then the frame is only a 53. I wouldn't want to go lower but if your arms are long you might be able to get away with the 123s. They seem DEEEEP though!
lol @ sprint....
I ain't sprinting nowhere!
