Spotter - That Jose Alvare and the Orlowski are indeed rad and very tasty, well done that man, oh and the other two as well, but if I had to choose...(!) ;)
my frame have a 75 degree seattube.
a thomson in-line is coming soon, gaston-style.
This is something I've only just realized played such a big factor in working out bike ride set up with even .5deg less or more seat tube angle (I know, slow on the uptake!). Well made point.
Turned the eddy merckx shopper into a proper road bike. Ninja gaston seat post shot. The flite is as far forward as possibleAnd that finishes off this mornings catch up quite nicely! Good to hear the Merckx is back in its intended form! ;P
Any side on views for drive side? -

Got it sorted then I see. Your position looks almost the same as my bike. Possibly a little longer, you'll find your knees clashing with forks/bars. I have to put my knees in between my bars.

Wow,and i thought my beater was high on the front end,is it built (like mine) to compensate for a dodgy back or just for the sheer hell of doing it.(would love to give it a whirl btw, never ridden anything like it ! )
beater voodoo ...

It's my "unsuitable bike" for this weekend's Clunker Classic DH/pissup in Porlock near Minehead.
There's nothing holding the lowers on at the moment apart from the fact that the tubes are further apart than the original stantions and I've removed the fork seals.Weight distribution is still wheelietastic but the cockpit is like a short sit-up-and-beg.
How's yours looking, O'shane?
Anyone else with a silly bike is welcome to turn up. No Mtbs!

readview if you ever want to offload those Bombers hit me up.
emyr, do you not fear for your headtube?
-
• #63546
The head angle is somewhere between 50 and 60 degrees. I read up on some motorbike chopper conversions and found that most of the forces at this angle will be in line with the fork legs.
The frame cost be £2.72 plus some train fare so I'm not too fussed if it breaks but maybe I should wear a facecage?

Dilemma, Ti 120mm to match my seatpost, or pro chrome 100mm... (for the pink Dolan...)
I think I may go for the stretch with the Ti... as position is quite upright at the minute.
Comfort vs. Shexyness.
My eyes!
