Lookin nice AngelD, need a silver stem though imo
I get bored way to easy, would love a Nitto jag as the bars feel too high and close with with relativity low rise bars. Any other quill stems with a pretty big drop that don't break the bank?
Cheers dude. I've been debating between silver and black stem myself, but wanted a mix both colours on the bike, not just ya standard blacked out HHSB, but as I want a shorter stem to use with pursuits, might see how a 90mm Thomson X2 looks in silver.
I know not much about quills unfortunately, so can't help there!

Ace projects Ed and Oz.
Ed does your TFG dream machine have bosses for bottle cages? Some haven't I think.

been looking at these on the bay, loads of shops with used njs stuff for decent prices my only fear was getting stung by customs. Did you have any trouble with your DAs AngelD?

Haha, so that what was missing!
I knew it look too clean, doesn't matter anyway, nothing a couple of rubber and zip tie can solved*, that or just stuffed a hydration pack in my framebag.
- interpret this any way you like.

At least you'll have the cages exactly where you want them.

Keep checking, I've found them there a few times and I never had any trouble with customs so far knock on wood.
Mine were pretty pitted and scratched (the worst I've seen there tbh), but all they need is a bit of TLC with wet and dry sand paper, I went from 280grit to 2000grit in every grade in between, with a thorough polish with Autosol at the end, and now they look gorgeous!A month, we have 40 days in mind.
Good for you mate, thats awesome.
Are you working with any charities in particular?
What route are you taking?
Expect lots of pics documenting your journey! ;) -

Nice bike.
Have you considered black bar tape though?
Curious how/if that would work on it. -

Ed that bike really is lovely.
Good luck with your trip.
I sold my fixed gear at the start of this year, starting to miss is somewhat. But I don't really have the time/ money for another bike so thinking of converting my VN Yukon in to a fixed frame but so I can use it geared also.
How much of a good/stupid idea is this?
All I can think of is the cables will be a pain.

Just buy an Eno rear wheel to get your fix.

It's a leather toe strap to hold a spare tubular tyre under the saddle.
