  • they're going to have to be bloody big to wedge them in a tri-spoke

Houston - we have a problem....

.....[it comes to mind as a typical HHSB-half-solution-mindset-4-real] :D

  • I've got spokecards on my disc #hhsbwin

  • New projects to be started at a snails pace whilst revision goes on:
Get Telfer back from having track ends fitted- turn into fixed TT bike.
Transfer Groupset from Ti bike to more sensible distance Alu frame (ready for move at end of summer to grandparents as my bike there- as I spend a lot of time there at the moment and it makes sense)
Ti bike to be turned fixed and left in London as road/ fix there (not having a bike there sucks)
Go see Scherrit for a bike fitting- finalise secret bike dimensions for late summer.
Decide if I want an SS MTB or a CX bike... I suspect CX.

    End result:
Nottingham: beater, road, TT(summer) or CX/MTB(winter)
London: Road fixed and the TT or CX depending on season
Devon (grandparents): Decent, but budget roadie with potential for guards/rack.

    Budget- not very much.
    Spare parts- lots.

  • This is my 2011 Fuji Track, made a few changes, new forks, new rear wheel, new saddle, new stem/bars and new pedals. Next up is to sort out some compact drops and brake levers/hoods I've got, to use for longer rides. Also I need to sort the brake out, I've changed the fork and now the caliper won't stay still, going to go to my lbs when I've not got so much uni work on and sort it out.

  • ^nice job on the fuji!
I Just quickly knocked up a bike for my sister, less than £50 so far with helmet and lights

  • Sweet looking ride man!

  • Worked out really nice that, I think a carbon fork would really suit it though.

  • Nah I think it's perfect as it is, carbon would just make it look like nothing special.

  • Soz, had to rotate, was annoying me.

  • The wall is now on the piss. That's even worse.

  • The wall is now not straight. That's even worse.

    it's giving me a headache.

I'm not shopping the wall though, I've wasted too much time doing silly potato chopping today.

  • Nicely done, reminded me of my attempt at levelling the handlebar;

  • Lovely bike, commuter? Or flat rides?

  • ^^ I remember that. Scoblols.

  • Lovely bike, commuter? Or flat rides?

Fixed is best for hills. It's boring on the flat.*

    • just one man's opinion obviously.
    • just one **MAN's **opinion obviously.

    key word there,

  • Sweet looking ride man!

Thanks! It does everything I want it to and didn't cost the earth so I can't complain at all.

  • cool

  • My miche BB developed a creak I knew they where cheap and shit and it had come loose once already so I whipped it out and after only a few months I could already feel some rumbles. I bought a veloce 111 instead waited a few days for the tool fitted it today. Creak was still there. Turns out I had 6 days off the bike and spent £35 for a loose chain ring bolt. The moral: check the easy stuff first.

  • @ psee .. Nicely done. Looks great.
