It has two brakes! Need to drill the front fork for the recessed bolt and pick up my other brake lever from home before I fit the front though.

I've decided to resurrect my track bike, even if all I do is ride it on rollers.
Corrado 853 ProTeam track bike built for Scotland's 2002 Commonwealth Games team (iirc, this was Alistair Rutherfords)
Miche 170mm 144bcd cranks
Mavic reflex on Campagnolo Pista (O'Shane has been using the matching LF pair, so I'll make do with these slightly less hip wheels...)
Tufo S3 Pro 21mm front, S3 Lite 18mm rear so way I can get away with 18mm!)
ITM Pro 260 bars
Other bits whatever I needed at the timeTo do:
Clean it.
Wider rear tub
service hubs
ring, sprocket, chain
new stem, seatpost, saddle
bar tape
find my DA SPD-Rs
Optional: split-clamp brake lever, front caliper and clincher beater wheels if I take it outdoors.

Don't swap that tub! I have an old set of campag wheels you could use, either that or you can have my Halo's and I'll go back to the Miche/Mavic wheels I have. You don't want tubs on the road really.
I think your SPD-Rs are down here, shouldn't be too hard to find.

The tub swappyness is a long term thing, if I get near a velodrome. If that happens, I'll want these nice shiny wheels!
Been browsing around for some clinchers (see "optional" todo), Need to have a think about how much I can afford so whether I go for something like a new pair of Varnos or go second hand.

Built this up last night.. Birthday ride ;)
It's by Geoff Scott (of Gefsco fame). Built in Columbus Ms with a Dura ace 7400 groupset, 105 hubs on Campagnolo Ypsilon rims. Will get some better shots of it at some point, I think it was one of the first aero tubesets... It also has a nifty bb shell, the seat tube leans really far forward for a relaxed geometry with a short wheelbase.. Rides nice apart from a few glitches with the rear mech.

Thinking of building a fixed (rather than buy OTP) but only to save money, so any advice on whether it is worth it? Looking to spend about £500.
I already know a somewhat fair amount about bikes, so don't want to be build just for gaining the knowledge etc.
If it is a good idea to build then how much of the £500 should I look to spend on a frame and then the rest?
I've only ever ridden MTBs and have a eager interest in Dutch bikes, so fixeds are somewhat new to me, but I like ridin' 'em!
