  • It was good to have the bros together earlier. Armourtex can GTFO, Halfords DIY is the one!

  • The finish is pretty mint, better that the OG paint on mine!

    Risers gonna rise...

  • I need a cheaper bike for commuting so decided on a cross build. Right now it's going to be built up as a single speed on 44x18. For Cross season it'll be 1x10 with the Rival.

  • Are those the brake blocks supplied with the calipers?

  • Yeah. They're CR720s The CR520s are similar but come with blocks instead of pad holders. I've got one set of Swissstop pads that I'll probably exchange the front pads with.

Ah nice. To be fair it's too good a frame to get coated. Is it like a matt or satin finish?

  • matt.

    Hey, that's Riens bike!! Awesome!

  • why is the file called MTB?

  • Mega Track Bike?

  • Milk The BB

  • Milk Then Black (colour scheme)

  • Either if you get the right group. I'd go for Shimano 600 Arabesque or Shimano 105 Golden Arrow. Campag I'd go for Gran Sport or perhaps a little newer with Triomphe or Victory.

Shimano 600 would be what I'd think naturally but campag's so nice and I've put a few bits on my Raleigh plus have some bits lying around :)

  • Have had this frame sitting around for quite some months now, about time to get it ready for spring!

Basically got all the bits needed (a mix of 600/Tricolour 64XX and Dura Ace 74XX plus a brand new set of Open Pros on Ultegra hubs)

This is my first build with indexed gears and STIs, so I am a bit in doubt on how to fit the downtube adjusters:

Am I right, thinking the one on the left should handle the rear mech cable?

    Cheers
    \Thomas

Left is front, right is rear. Are there no cable guides on the bottom of the BB to make it more clear how the cables are routed?

  • ^worst decision ever to sell the dolan

    and the visp

    and the zipp

    and the pro winner

    and the bmc

    and the moser

    oh and the mercian

    and finally the fuji

    and the BMX

    and the Batavus

nah I hated those 2. I really want the Pro Winner back though.

And now to add the Pinarello

  • Sorry for crappy pic's. Haven't got time to take betters.
Frame is chromoly double butted and downtube is Reynolds 533
Have somebody invented something for those downtube shifter "knobs"? I just want something diffrent than PS or Shimano covers for those and I don't want to cut them eather.

  • And now to add the Pinarello
