Balanced my new bike together to see what it might look like. I can't decide whether to paint it and give it decals or leave it as is:
get some correct GT decals and keep the paint job, tell people its a special edition
that extra seat tube is odd
triple triangle is ftw

Ohhh nice, agree with spotter on some decals though. I take it you haven't ridden it yet? Let us know when you do.
-
• #57159
Thanks, nope haven't ridden it yet. Trying to decide on colour so I don't have to rebuild it if I change my mind. Leaning towards going black, either way it'll get decals and the rim stickers will go. I am proper excite.

I think decals its a big bike will break up the vast expanses of blue. Also sick fork bro

I saw it in the flesh when it was mgs and the colour is so so nice.... even without decals I thought it worked.

Haught. Only thing I would change is a stem that drops a bit more (looks like a 0degree?), something that just about matchs top tube angle, then risers to suit, GT decal and keep wheel stickers, or no stickers at all. Then move to prOn thread.

Toby.d - Strip it raw, black decals.
-
• #57173
I was thinking black on black would look quite cool, matt black finish with gloss decals
-
• #57174
I like that idea. I would maybe strip it but I have a raw bike already and my last frame was raw and the welds aren't great looking which I think is why Tenerloin never stripped his.
