  • ^^ and ^^^yeah - cheap ti isn't going to be any stiffer or better than cheap carbon. Go for the pedalforce.

  • Just put new wheels and carbon forks on my bike which in an earlier guise was in anti-porn recently.
Mavic open pro laced to Ambrosio Zenith. Icon Air rail forks.

  • Your hoods are clamped quite low on the bars. It may be the angle of the photo/lens but it looks like the bars are tilted upwards to compensate.

Sort that and I'd bet that's a good ride.

  • yeah I noticed that on the photo, I think some is poor angle of the photo. But I think you are right, I wanted the hoods a few mm closer and that will help.

  • someone on here was saying that the quality of the Ti in those frames wasn't that great

I reckon it's messing with the optional upgrades (butting, fancy tube profiling etc) that causes the weaknesses.

  • I don't get the votes for Edge over Easton when Easton have been making forks for much longer than edge. Is it the new guy syndrome? Better grafics? Or factual knowledge?

  • ...Easton when Easton have been making forks for much longer than edge...

I'm not sure that's true. Enve have ben around for decades.

Edge stuff turns up on top end bikes and AFAIK is USA made. They work with custom builders, and we drool at the results.

Easton branded stuff can be sold by any 'scoble in your local Evans (no offence Edward). Some of the low end Easton wheels are a bit rubbish, and stems etc just average – not really helping the image.

  • my Easton seatpost fucking rocks

  • my Easton seatpost fucking rocks

    Back and forth?

Might wanna get that seen to.

  • yellow cloth tape.

are you on comission for that stuff or something?
    jesus..

Enve has been around since 2010 .. before they changed the name Edge was 3 years old. So not even a decade in total. And for your information only the wheel rims are made in the USA. I'm not saying anything about the product .. but the forks in my opinion are better the Easton, and I've ridden EC90 SL and Enve 2.0.

    jesus..

First thing come to mind TBH.

  • i love that kumo!

    2nd that .. Fantastic paint scheme :)

  • I swear a seatpost is just a stick man

  • so is a stem, bars, cranks, levers really bikes are just a series of sticks placed together

  • @Dubrat - If you ever want rid of that Cinelli, let me know. That's exactly what I want right now.

  • snap^ that Cinelli makes my balls tense.

  • So I'm considering replacing my 49d's with something with a bigger BCD and also less teeth.
Currently on 52/17 and its a bit tough on the old knees so might scale down to 50/17 and then 48/17 if its still a problem.

Any reccomendations on suitable replacements that would look good on a 1960's Bob Jackson?

Just swapping your cog for a 19t would be easier.

  • Tease. What is this?

  • A stick

  • Tease. What is this?

    The prequel to this

  • Just swapping your cog for a 19t would be easier.

True dat, but I'm kind of scared of skidding on such a small BCD after I popped a few bolts a while back

  • Sound like poor installation.
