  • assembled christmas gifts for spring ride, kg231/chorus/nucleon:

    Nice. Still got my KG231, now pretty much retired and stashed under my bed. Replacing the aluminium forks is a worthwhile upgrade if you can get hold of some 1" carbon ones.

  • Pistoffski has got some lovely Dedacciai ones for sells, steerer is 211mm might just make it....

    I am so happy with this, Kevin Winter frame in Colombus Spirit tubing with Record and Neutron wheels.
    I feel so happy:)

  • nice!

  • It is very nice, I most especially like the head badge best of all;

    I love the fact your brother leave the wrapping on the frame unless it's necessary to removed it to prevent it from getting scratched;

  • Why thank you Ed your camera and computer skills far outweigh mine, It is amazing what Evans will do is it not?

  • Heh, he did have a lovely time building it, the way he treat it as if he's trying to restore the lost sonnet of Shakespeare.

  • Remember one scratch could have led to a lifetime of recriminations, it was a task with quite a lot of responsibility.

  • Got this frame a couple days back. Missed having a fixed bike.

  • It would have been great if the A is actually P....

  • awesome. 58x58?

  • 57/55.5 Looks huge with no tyres on.

    It would have been great if the A is actually P....

    Wut?

  • bit jelly of that paint job... where did you find it?

  • Straight outta Leboncoin.

  • Threadless BB FTW.

  • Wut?

    P. Michel, old forum joke.

  • Alan Michel frames are very nice, the only slight down-side is a French thread BB Shell. Great find!

    Yeah. I'm glad this came with one in reasonable condition. Pain in the butt to find french ISO bbs.

  • Coming along nicely. All the parts are bought but my broken wrist is holding me back from putting it all together. The drivetrain will be a mix of Shimano 105, SRAM Rival and SRAM Red.

  • This will probably remain mine for a while atleast:

    Obviously needs parts changing, actually every part! I intend to fit one of my Campagnolo Engraved groupsets (11 speed Athena perhaps, maybe 10 speed Veloce, Athena Mix). Quill stem of course, silver seatpost and decent saddle.

    Not sure what tubing it is, the only other one I can find is on here in the classifieds section which the seller thought was 653. Was drawn to those spearpoint, webbed lugs and just check that fag paper clearence between tyre and seat tube!

  • Beautiful lugs.

  • That frame look like it's design for tub, what size is your tyres?

  • They'll be 23c going by the middle picture
