Literally just finished this today thanks to a seatpost from yeahnerdz

Great system. The internal cable routing on my frame allowwed the liner to be longer than the outer. So I could do a lot of post installation adjusting.
I'm wondering if I should have sheathed the cables for their whole length, to be honest.
The SRM cables run down the front mech cable, so there is a (larger, not iLink) sheath over that to which they are attached (small zip ties), so it's kind of been done already on that side.
I got the iLinks because I liked the thinking behind them, but I think they must have saved some weight as adding the new spider only upped the weight of the bike by 20g, which I found pretty surprising.

My liners run an inche or so into the frame. They do save weight. But like the powercordz inner cables. The weight saving v increased cost, is ridiculous. Still, looks nice, and you're not left with loads of useless lengths after installation. Reckon I've enough links to do another gear or brake set.

Very nice, have you got any info about the frame? I think I have the same one or v similar but don't know anything about it. Is it columbus tubing?

As there is no "spring" in the cable outer you get nice smooth curves as well. Overall, a fan of this stuff.

powermeter and an inch of spacers.......

Could you not flip the stem upside down? I don't even have spacer on my Surly (well minus the part that needed cutting).
Ironic that you have more spacer on your road bike than I do on my town bike.

^Lies, you'd need reins to ride my bike.
-
• #53161
That I probably do, but at least I don't have stack of spacers.

• #53162
Can somebody remind me exactly how many milimeters of spacers I should have and what angle my stem should be so that my bike can look the right way? I wouldn't want to get arrested by the bike-fit police or even worse, vilified on the forum for having too many spacers.

Although this reigns idea sounds promising.

wow, thanks all - lots of good options there.
it's the straight section starting just below the hoods that i like. i figure it will give me a midway position between hoods/tops and on-the-drops. (basically for staying comfy when there's a headwind).
the itm super italia's seem to fit the bill nicely.. and if they're good enough for marco pantani, they're good enough for me!
so now i'm looking for size 39/40, and a new 100mm, 26.0 quill stem....

Thing is, they ride what they're given, some of them obviously have says in position and such (like Mark Cavendish drastic change of saddle height before the race, TBF he does have a habit of changing it regularly), but they're paid to ride what they're given regardless, saddle are a great example as some may not find a certain model comfortable, but they rode it netherless.
In the past, racers were paid to says they rode on a certain saddle, says Ideale saddle whether they actually rode Brooks, simply because they were more comfortable, unfortunately not possible to claim such thing nowadays due to media and television.

I'd like to says before everyone started going "oh but but...", I may be talking absolute bollocks about such subject.

Fast does not equal slammed stem, it's becoming a LFGSS myth.

a power-meter is pointless without target led expert analysis.

Haha. It's a nice bike for riding on Sundays. Now with extra data.
That is all.
